Great find! We tried the oatmeal cream and gingersnap cookies, and the blueberry muffin. They were all delicious and the lattes were so good too! Would definitely come back if I’m in the area again.
A fabulous find. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is cozy in am open way. The coffee selection is very nice and the fresh pastries the best I found in town. They use vegtables from Ketchikan Ever Greens (a Freight Farm hydroponic unit) for sustainable and environmentally responsible growing. The Hungarian Soup was delicious and the date bar was WOW. Highly recommended
I highly recommend stopping by 55North, as soon as I get off my cruise ship, I come straight here. You can taste that everything is homemade, and it is delicious. I love the bialy breakfast sandwich and biscuits. If you come early enough, definitely order the cinnamon rolls 😍.
The premier bakery and coffee drink and eatery! I've always imagined one in Ketchikan and in all travels across the country I would look for a bakery with a coffee shop. Let me tell you 55North filled the niche and set the benchmark. When you put your employees first and love what you do the food becomes a work of art and well the flavor can only come from experience and loving what you do. Everytime I eat here I'm not disappointed because the menu is fresh, employees are attentive, and the food is amazing. The best thing about this place is consistency as you know you will always get something that makes your tummy smile and while your licking your chops you'll be thinking about next time. Took a loaf of Sourdough bread home and talk about the best morning toast with coffee! Trust me you can't go wrong if your lucky enough to eat at this place.
We made a pit stop here for a good cuppa decaf espresso and we were not disappointed. Locally roasted beans and house made goodies....a must visit! Some of the best espresso in Alaska!
What might I say that is fair for this great place? Well in few words might say: "if someday I'll own a business just which it will be looking as much as this one". I like the concept they have about drinks and food. Never got tired of going there, looks like a family business and everybody looks involved in it. Last time didn't have the chance to drink a coffee bcs they was closed due to a celebration which makes me feel they give a importance to their people and that's important. My best wishes for all you guys!!! Hope to see you once again.
Holy smokes, the sourdough bialy chorizo breakfast sandwich is through the roof, sooo good! We ended up buying another one haha. We're just on a cruise stop, but if I lived here, I would be here every day. They open early too, which is perfect if you're in port before 7am like we were.
Everything we tried was delicious! The blueberry muffins were fresh and flavorful, my latte was fabulous and toasty hot, but my absolute favorite thing was the everything bagel. It was everything you never knew you needed in a bagel! I love that it's family owned, bagels and things are made there, and the customer service was great. We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful lake! You can get a free shuttle to downtown from the cruise ship port, and then itâs a long and pretty steep incline walk through some neighbourhoods to the trail head. Thatâs the hardest part done! Only then a very short steep walk an
This hole in the whole was a perfect spot to grab a few drinks and have a cigar right on the back patio overlooking the water. Friendly staff and a full bar. Leave a dollar!
Was tough, harder than I expected. Hiking from sea level up to 900+ m would be fine, but last 250 m of height was in snow (June 7). Trail was 1 to 2 meters below the snow so it did not help too much :-). In some areas it was so steep that I grabbed t
We were in Ketchikan port for the day and rented a car. We lucked out with a beautiful day. Ketchikan is known to be one of the wettest areas in Alaska. We wanted to go as far away from the crowds and this was at the end of the main road. This is
So easy to be on and off the docks here. Port security uses facial recognition but ship is close and easily accessible to town. Most tourist things are right off the ship in easy walking distance. Hit Mount Roberts Tram early or the lines get long
This is a wonderful place - one of best donuts Iâve ever had! There is a whole board of flavours, some are standard but others are so unique. I had the cinnamon crackers donut (like uk cinnamon grahams breakfast cereal) and it was amazing- still s
Very beautiful hike that is not far from town. I took an uber to get to the far end of the trail by the college and then it's an easy walk back to town from the closer end of the trail.
