54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar - Restaurant in Glen Carbon - 6660 Edwardsville Crossing Dr, USA

In the past I haven’t been crazy about 54th St., but my wife is obsessed with it so we went there yesterday and I tried a new item that I recognized on the menu which is the protein bowl which came with different protein options but I went with the filet mignon. I can’t even begin to describe how good this was. It was absolutely incredible. I didn’t feel overly stuffed and it was just an incredible post workout meal now add really good service and great beer and you have a combination for an awesome meal at a great restaurant!

The issue with the location, its the typical American bar and pub place. Food is typical burgers fries steaks, etc... nothing special, nothing great, just good. But good is better than bad, so its average rating is still successful. Only call out, if you do eat there...sit at the bar in the 'sports area' (the offset bar), and hope Kelly is working ... she is great, bartender and server. Otherwise, its just food another restaurant.

10 of us went in on a Tuesday unplanned although they were busy they put us on the back inclosed patio it was a great experience. We had great service hot good food in large portions . It was a really good experience and I will return. Their spinach artichoke dip is ridiculous you must try it! DELICIOUS!! 😋 😋

Just a visit to the bar while we waited for a movie at the theater. The waitress was friendly and helped us burn some time without trying to rush our experience. Did not have food but did enjoy a good beverage. Clean and orderly throughout. Will make it a full experience next time.

Chicken nachos with cheese sauce and gringo dip fire! Chicken quesadilla cooked perfectly. Mango sweet tea always on point.

I’ve tried so hard to like 54th street and ate there multiple times, but the food really isn’t that great, and severely overpriced. The chicken sandwich i got was $15 and the breading just slid off and the bun was soggy. I had a soup and sandwich another time and they were bland, and the sandwich was so dry. Just way too expensive for the bad quality and what you get. However- service and atmosphere are amazing.

What can I say? I love this place. Service is usually good to very good. The bartenders are usually excellent if you are there for a drink. The food is very good to excellent every time. Can't complain about the place at all.

Food and service were good. The menu is interesting, I’ll be back to try some more items. I think it would be nice if they had bread or something to nibble on before the food comes out. The steak was a bit tough and their medium rare was close to rare.
