400 Block - Park in Wausau - 401 N 3rd Street, USA

The 'accidental' creation of the 400 block has single handedly transformed down town into a true treasure. Once the bandstand was erected, the 400 Block became a wonderful venue for local and national bands. During the day, this open space makes downtown feel spacious and clean. During the summer, on Wednesday evenings, there usually is a wonderful band playing, at no cost. You are allowed to carry in any beverage/food of your choice. Open alcohol containers are allowed within the 400 block park. During winter months, this area turns into a large outdoor ice skating rink.

Love the 400 Block! A great place for all kinds of events including concerts, art displays and sales, and food trucks. We went to Chalkfest, and were not disappointed. It's amazing the talent these people have. Make sure to check it out if you're in the area!

We were here for the chalk fest both on Saturday and Sunday the renderings are amazing. We also got to support scouts and the Wausau theater by purchasing from their food truck. Plenty of stuff to see and do this weekend.

I've been participating in this event since 2018. Such an amazing experience. So many talented artists.

Disappointed in the markings for the different events happening 5k, 1/2 marathon and full marathon. When you run close to 4 miles for a 3.12 5k it's unfair!!
