30 Burgers & Mike's Subs - Hamburger restaurant in Dunellen - 14 S Washington Ave, USA

Tried 30 Burgers at this location which didn’t look appealing compared to other free standing 30 Burgers locations. This is 30 Burgers shares the interior with Mike’s Subs but, wait it shares space Cal’s Ice Cream Shop and still wait some Bubble Tea shop. To confusing when you want the 30 Burgers atmosphere. Now for the taste test we ordered two #1 classic burger. One came cooked just right while the other was well done. Regardless both tasted flat as well as the fries. The fountain soda lack the syrup and water combination. Service was bland with no engagement. Maybe holiday fatigue. Location was clean and the shared bathroom as well. Plenty of on site free parking with adequate lighting. Prices were comparable with other burger joints costing us under $28.

The first thing that stood out to me was the vast number of options to choose from. Definitely something on the menu for any taste. The classic burger was solid overall, just a little on the messy side. Get extra napkins haha. Cajun fries were on point 👍🏼

I ordered a strawberry milkshake and a burger. The milkshake was amazing! Burger was horrible. It was drier than the Sahara Sierra desert. Because I am a fan I am going to give them another shot, but I was extremely disappointed and I just threw my burger out and went home.

I wanted a Cuban panini but don't eat pork...and they substituted the ham with turkey bacon...YUM!!! I appreciate them going above and beyond!!!

I had the most miserable experience at this place. I ordered a cheeseburger for pickup. I was never told that both sides of the bun would be literally drenched in mayonnaise. Nor was there any option to remove the mayo when ordering Apparently these people force you to eat their mayonnaise, whether you like it or not. Well I didn't like it so I threw the trashy thing where it belonged. I will never be back and will encourage everyone I know to stay away.

My first time at 30 burgers did not let me down. Took my wife here for lunch. I had the burger with Pastrami and she had the Philly cheesesteak burger. Both were delicious. We also had the onion rings as a side, also excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were the same as what you would pay at Red Robin, Smashburger or any of the other premium burger joints. This location also sold Mike's cold and hot subs. Nice options to pick from. Plenty of seating available where you didn't feel like you sitting on top of the customers.

New to the neighborhood. I recommend the Bullseye BBQ Burger. I like the Spicy Baja, but it’s a bit messy for me. A great plus about this place is they offer lettuce wrapped burgers/sandwiches as an option, which is great alternative for gluten free. The workers were friendly and attentive. The parking lot could use some TLC.

On 1-4-20 I purchased a Black and Blue salad from 30 Burgers via Grub Hub and was greatly disappointed. The Angus beef was a burger slapped on top of iceberg lettuce with a smear of blue cheese and greasy bacon pieces and huge chunks of tomatoes. The burgers are great but, buyer be weary of the salads.
