We were looking for a "dive" bar on the way home from Xmas shopping. Got lucky with a Google Maps search. The bonus was being in downtown Gresham. Didn't know what to expect - pleasantly surprised. This place is probably pretty fun on a weekend night. Got some STIFF pours of tequila and bartender helped us out with the beer back.
If you collect dive bars like we do - worth the stop!
Was really excited to try this local place as it's in downtown Gresham and close by. Was really disappointed at the obvious watered-down alcohol that they were serving. I mean it happens, but this was way too obvious, and they still have the balls to charge a hefty sum for their drinks. I won't be back, but i hope they change their ways for the future customer's sake.
This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a bar. If I could give a zero star review, I definitely would. The bartender on staff this evening, Nicholas, should be fired and I will never go to that place as long as he works there. Absolutely awful individual. He kicked my partner and I out because, get this, we ordered food. He literally threw a big baby boy tantrum in front of the whole establishment, accused us of losing him business/tips because my partner ordered mac and cheese (which was completely inedible btw) and told us to leave. The worst part is he intentionally misgendered my partner multiple times calling us both sir multiple times when he could clearly tell that my partner is female/transgender and had even interacted as such prior to his little meltdown. It was the most disrespectful interaction I have ever had with an employee at any business. Check your trans-hate at the door, Nicholas. Looking at past negative reviews that are clearly about him, I am amazed and shocked that he is still employed there. Worst bartender ever. Get rid of him before you lose more customers and get more bad reviews, 2nd Street Bar.
The place was huge! Has a entire bar room, games room, and machines to gamble your money away on. The pretty bug downside I had was food is pretty much a joke here. Drinks are spot on. Food? Don't come here until you get some food first. Overall I do highly recommend it just remember the food issue and place is awesome.
I actually came with a group of friends and was excited to have a girls night. Was really devastated about the watered down drinks and questionable prices.
This place is pretty fun. I've only been in a few times, but great service from the bartenders. They do events here and the drinks are good.
Had a good time playing pool. Tacos and a chicken quesadilla were tasty with some hot peppers to spice it up. A good selection of beers topped it off. A good choice on a Wednesday afternoon!
Me and my friends go here to gave drinks and shoot pool. The atmosphere is usually mellow, and the staff are very polite. Although there's several bars around, this would have to my "go to". Aside from the fact that it's either too cold or to warm inside, it probably my favorite one that I've been to. You'd definitely love it too, the drinks are a reasonable price , and the music and food is good too.
This bar was great. We went in for 1 and stayed for a lot more! Bartender is fantastic, itâs pretty small and not super busy. A really great little spot.
This was a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I was undecided between the traditional goat or beef. They were so helpful and offered a sample so I can decide which to go with. I would definitely recommen
Food, staff and the atmosphere was great!
The French toast was delicious, I recommend getting the platter because the potatoes are really good! (If they have their normal potatoes, ask before you order, if they don't have their normal potatoes, do y
