It was a lovely hike, wonderful views. I enjoyed hiking it with my friends.
Great access to "The Ledge" and Eagle Cave. Trails in great shape and uncrowded. Get high real quick and get stunning views of Fremont Island and South to the Great Salt Lake. Saw some deer. Be advised, if you are heading towards the Indian trail up the canyon, the trail is steep and very narrow. Not recomended for children. And please keep your dogs on a leash.
We went snow hiking. Without snow shoes. With kids ages 5 to 12. It was pretty easy considering there was already 7 inches of snow and it was snowing pretty consistently while we hiked. The trail we did was mostly flat with a couple ups and downs. We did about a 1.5 miles in.
Very beautiful view of Ogden. Dog friendly with pet waste bags provided. Fantastic bike trails with parking locations in various parts of the trail.
Beautiful place to wander. Lots of interconnected trails. The signs weren't very clear, so don't be too set on a specific path.
Be warned, many people don't obey the rules of keeping dogs on leash. Be aware if your dog isn't good with other dogs running up to the.
This trail has a combination of steep inclines and flat areas. If you have dogs there is a water station about a quarter mile in for the dogs to drink and leave water for the next dog. There are no other stations at least for the first 2 miles, so make sure to bring plenty of water for them. The view is amazing!
Excellent hike, one of the most beautiful ones I have been on in my short tenure hiking 😄 this is definitely a moderate hike, with an elevation gain of about 2001 feet but the views are spectacular and there are a few places to camp as well along the trail. The out look at the top over looks Allen peak and connects with the malan peaks trail.
You can get to several trails from this trailhead, Rainbow, Indian, Hidden Valley, Taylor, Malan, Waterfall, and Shoreline. All of these trails offer awesome overlooks and beautiful peak views.
A beautiful hike with a great balance of ample shade and striking views. I loved taking some time to meditate near the river as well and enjoy the re-cycling of energy.
A great easy stop if u r heading in the right direction. Hit the waterfall if u r heading into Ogden - the hot spring heading toward Eden. No facilities - none, zero, nada - so prepare accordingly. The short trail to the hot springs can be slick if i
Amazing place to take your baby for a walk in a stroller (or your fur baby too they even provide poop bags along the trail).
There are tons of picnic tables with shade along the river. Along a part of the parkway is a circuit workout you can follow.
I started working with Will after I had shoulder surgery. I came to him, because I wanted to learn how to lift/exercise correctly. My shoulder injury was due to bad form/practice and I didn't want it to happen again.
Will has been AMAZING! He is inc
