A wonderful place to live and call home! A hidden gem in DC—everyone in the building goes above and beyond to make you feel at home here. It is especially wonderful to come home and be greeted by the concierge, who seem to know every resident in the building. The leasing process was easy and the building management is very responsive. We would highly recommend this community to anyone!

I have been living at 13|U for more than a year now, and I just signed a new lease because I love it here. The location is ideal for me, and the building is always clean and well-kept. Whenever I had an issue with my apartment, the maintenance team fixed it on the same day. But what makes living here so special is the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and attentive. They always greet me by name and make me feel welcome. They go above and beyond to make sure I have a great living experience at 13|U.

Anneett the concierge just makes my day and night her exceptional customer service and personable nature makes living at 13/U a bit easier. She is always readily available to take care of any concern no matter the task she will always get it done!

I lived at 13|U for almost three years and can confidentily say it is the best apartment building I have ever lived in. If you are considering moving there, you absolutely should go for it. The apartments themselves are beautiful. Everything from the appliances to the countertops to the wood floors is extremely well-made and high-end. It is the only apartment building I have ever been to in DC that is actually worth the price tag. The building also has beautiful amenity spaces, including a rooftop with a gorgeous view of DC. The building itself is enough to entice anyone to move there, but the staff really put 13|U over the top. Maintenance requests are handled swiftly, diligently, and effectively. The leasing office staff and the front desk staff are truly incredible. They are the perfect balance of professional and personable. Rodney, the resident assistant at 13|U, is extremely competent, caring, and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience living in this building and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

It’s been a great experience since I moved here over a year ago. Maya, Rodney, Finn and Annette are part of the excellent Staff here at 13th&U. They’re always reliable and ready to help with whatever you need, even if it’s not within their reach, they’ll try their best to find a solution. Unique is also part of this great team. About the building - Beautiful finishes, great rooftop view of most of DC’s landmarks, lively neighborhood, conveniently located a block from the metro, bus, Capital Bikes, Trader Joe’s, and many bars and cafes.

I have only lived here a few months, but 13|U has been great. They do a great job keeping the entire building clean. The highlight of the building is the concierge staff. Ebony, Rodney, and Maya are rockstars. They're always greeting you with a smile and are always professionals.

I cannot speak more highly of the staff here at 13|U. Every single one has been hugely kind and helpful; Especially Ebony, who has dropped literally everything to help me any time I’ve needed it and never stops smiling, and Rodney, Maya, and Finn, who are so kind and personable. The apartments themselves are spacious, well kept, and extremely high quality. There are apartment events often that are super fun and always allow you to meet others in the building. The only negative thing I have to say has nothing to do with the apartment or how wonderful it is; just that the area around U St can get quite dangerous. I’ve had to call 911 because of gunshots right outside the apartment, I’ve been jumped in broad daylight, and sketchy people are around decently frequently. If you know that you like the area, though, I could not recommend 13|U more. It’s truly a happy and fantastic apartment to live in.

I have lived at my apartment in 13|U for just about 5 months now and it truly feels like home. It has beautiful interiors with hardwood floors, marble bathrooms, and tall living room windows. I also love the roof lounge area- but what makes 13|U feel the most like home is the staff. Ebony greets me each morning after my morning jog with an eager “Happy Fri-yay!” and we end up chatting for 20 minutes about life. Rodney, Maya, and the rest of the 13|U staff are also exceptional and I truly feel so lucky to be greeted by them each and every day!
