Stopped in for arepas. You can order/pay at the counter, then take a seat, and the waitress will bring it out. You can also find a table and the waitress will take your order. The space is small and crowded. We tried the jerk chicken, carne asada, pork belly, and chicken salad. The jerk chicken and carne asada were the best.

Possibly the best Venezuelan food in the area. Ordered the cachapa with fried pork, empanadas and arepa pabellon. The arepa pabellon came with a fried egg, which is genius. I didn’t give it 5 stars cuz I’m comparing it to Doggis, which I think has the best cachapas ever.

If I could give more stars - I would. You can just tell when a place is run by good people by the way the food is always packed with care & in a friendly little bag - with silverware & napkins without me even having to ask - (which is usually the opposite when I order from other restaurants who don't even send these items when you have requested them.) My fav is the insanely large Chick #8 (Paisa) - which I can never finish in one sitting - it's seriously 2 lunches for me... the empanadas (experienced empanada connoisseurs will be able to tell by the texture of that shell! - see photo😉), & the tequenos are pretty good too, but the best part is that cilantro aioli 🙌🏽🔥(IUKTUK!!) So good! Don't sleep on this delicious, authentic, local gem that we're lucky to have. They've definitely earned the "yummy creations" part of their name.❤️

Really delicious. I did the 3 popular arepa sliders, breakfast arepas, tequenos, and Venezuelan empenadas. The jerk chicken arepa and cheese and banana empanadas were so good. Overall everything we had was great.

I am giving 11 Chicks 2-stars on the food because it's hard to pay $30 for two arepas and then get greasy reheated shredded steak that was impossible to eat. The flavor of the arepa masa with the cheese and the avocado, was amazing, though. I wish they'd make a point not to serve reheated meats, ever, because I'd love to come back and try them again and be pleasantly surprised by a perfect arepa!

Had the jerk chicken #10 arepa. It was tasty, the sweet plantain brought all the flavors together. I will be back for the #1 asada, it looked delicious.

This small arepa café in St. Pete is amazing. The arepas are authentic just like what you will find in South America…particularly Venezuela and Colombia. This family owned place has a very friendly atmosphere. They are very accommodating. I highly recommend grabbing a an arepa here!

A small place with big flavors. Venezuelan cafe with arepas, tacos, bowls, etc. Featuring ample portions of savory meats, beans, veggies, and excellent sauces. My #11 arepa was excellent. The same for my wife's tropical bowl with pulled pork, rice, black beans, and plantains.
