10 Acres Motel - Featured Reviews (50)
How can I book a room? I'm trying to call the number listed in this google page but no one answers.
Ten Acres Cafe was great! The staff was very sightful. Not too many people the day we were there. We chatted consistently and were able to catch-up.
A bit of a wait due to short staff but very friendly and helpful. Food great, clean area, a taste of home cooking. Our waitress Ms Kerry (if I spelled her name right) was the best and sweetest host and very hard worker.
I had breakfast with my nephew at The Cracked Egg at the 10 Acres Motel on Black Friday and it was SO GOOD I brought back my boyfriend the next day. When I first looked at the menu I was a little basic, so I went with one egg over medium, hash browns with Pepper's and onions and a side of scrapple. My egg was perfectly seasoned, the hash browns had that expert crisp and the scrapple was just right, too! Saturday morning there was a different staff. Everything was good. Their prices are economical. I got the same meal, but it wasn't quite as outstanding as the day before. My honey got the bacon and cheese omelett and it was LOADED with bacon, so we're still 5/5 stars. I'd eat the black Friday guy's over medium egg seven days a week!
We stayed at the Ten Acres Motel in July and had a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean, motel isclose to everything , friendly atmosphere. This place has a very country setting, which is why we loved it. The people there were very friendly and helpful. The coffee shop next store is def a bonus. The food was just like mom cooked it.
Needed somewhere to stay for a few weeks until i could move into my home. Very affordable ,country style decor, comfortable beds and clean. Off the beaten path and closer to A.C. Quiet and peaceful view right next to a sweet little coffee shop. I enjoyed my stay. The owner was very nice.
My boyfriend checked in 3 days before i got there. When i arrived he was out hunting. When i went in the room , I couldn't believe it. Immediately went and bought bleach, lysol, rubber gloves, paper towels and a broom. The dust and dirt on every surface was unbelievable!! Put bleach all over shower and sink and toilet . swept rug with broom, obviously wasnt vacuumed for WEEKS!!! Thank god sheets clean and i brought a blanket and pillow. Clean towels on back of toilet, with a half used comp bottle of coditioner! Really!! Threw in trash. Yes its in country setting. Yes its old. Yes people live there long term. Yes its cheap. Yes theres hot water and heat. YES the rooms are DIRTYand dark.
This is also a long-term motel, in addition to being a nightly-stay motel. I have made my residence here since July 2009. I'm a normal human being; I shower daily. On no day since the day I moved in has there been no hot water available. Not one, including the day the previous reviewer claimed there was no hot water. I'd know. I don't skip showers.||||Perhaps the water heater had been temporarily overloaded. I concede the possibility; one single (large) water heater is responsible for 11 rooms. It might have happened. It's never happened to me in 14 months. Remember, this is likely the oldest continuously-operating motel in the Atlantic City area; they originally charged 50 Cents per night. Holiday Inn Express, it ain't.|| ||For me, that's the point. This is as close to a historic lodging as you'll find around here, save the Pitney House, and it's inexpensive, close to the city and as quiet as it gets. ||||I'm not particularly devoted to the owners, although if it were that bad I'd obviously be living elsewhere now. I'm not broke. I love the location, I like the atmosphere, and I like being a small part of what this area was like long before anyone ever thought of casinos. If you understand what that all means, you'll like it here too.
Forsythe is one of my favorite places to bird. On this trip I was there early on a weekday in October, and I basically had the wildlife loop all to myself. It was low tide which means the birds that feed at the mudflats or shallow water were active.
A large playground thatâs accessible to all with multiple play spaces built for different ages (under 2, 2-5, 6+). There are also several swing sets with adaptive swings, regular swings, baby swings s as NS baby swings with an adult seat attached.
Highly recommend!!! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ Delicious authentic Chinese food!! I grew up eating in Chinatown (New York) every Sunday for dim sum! When I moved to New Jersey, I couldnât find a Chinese food restaurant that was anywhere close t
