Zulu hostel - Backpacker Hostel in Anjuna - North Goa, India

Although price for a bed is cheap, I would not recommend this place to any female guest, especially solo travelers or to non-smokers. It's completely a men Hostel, where male guests are kings, drinking, smoking and screaming/partying till the morning. If they are rude to females, even the owner wouldn't care. The place is also not really clean, but it has a sweet puppy and some kittens to kuddle with. Beds are good to sleep on and you can also use the common kitchen. Four toilets/shower are outside the building, ready to use, but often there is no water for bath.

Awesome, all the staff very friendly. when I came Zulu hostel, I was little nervous, as this was my first time stay in a hostel environment. But from the very first day I feel very happy and satisfied, the money I have spent to stay here, right decision. So friends anybody planning for Goa visit, then definitely book this hotel, whether you are single or have group of friends. Easily accessible and safe, secure environment. Thanks Naresh Kumar

Ambience is good. People are friendly, has pets books to kill your time. Not really expensive. Cafe is also opening soon. Don't get trapped inside but go out explore the city. But if you are there to work sitting inside hostel that's the place.

I could not stay there. However, after booking they never called to ask if I wanted to come or not. Guess what, they didn't want me to turn up as it was a non-refundable booking so that they could earn money by selling it to someone coming directly. My average rating is simply because I didn't feel really welcomed as they made no effort to enquire about the expected guest.

Zullu's is one of the best places one can stay in goa.Its very reasonable, close to beach and all the happening places like curlies, shiva valley are nearby. The owner is also very helpful and can suggest you some very good places to visit. All in all, a wonderful place to stay especially for bagpackers and solo travellers.

Great Hostel with lovely people. A friendly vibe is what makes a hostel special. This has it! PROS- There's a common area (which is beautiful and spacious) where you can interact with fellow hostelmates (and drink and chill obviously). There's also a projector if you wanna watch movies at night. Almost 6 washrooms (which are very clean) A kitchen, fridge. A place to hang dry your clothes. An outside seating area for your smoke sesh. Quiet surroundings. Near all major party places. CHEAP af.

The place has amazing hosts. Kudos to Abhishek! Comfortable, a 5 minute drive from the beach. Nice place to hangout and chill! Also, love cats and dogs? This is the to go place then!
