Zostel Udaipur - Backpacker Hostel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

Oh!! We stayed in a beautiful private room with a view of Lake Pichola. The room was quite spacious with a clean washroom. Would recommend this place for a budget friendly stay. Also they have a very beautiful rooftop set up of restaurant.

The stay was great. Crowd was amazing, staff was very polite and helpfull. Cleanliness was taken care of. Food was also very tasty. Only thing i would suggest if they can add curtains to the dorm bed as other hostels are already doing jt like moustache, their dorm rates are also little less. Adding curtains will give some sense of privacy even when staying in dorm. Other than that totally recommended 5/5.

1. Rooms were fine...tbh pretty good and well maintained washrooms and beds. 2. Terrace view was spectacular. Something to look out for. 3. In-house restaurant was average. Low on quality and taste when compared to price we are paying. 4. The biggest disappointment was game room, most of the things were broken or not in good condition.

U see my stars u will get it ! I needed to stay one day more but I didn't. I am sure people can find better place which u will find better than here. I believe it's not going to be India after few years might be Amsterdam for sure! some people are transitioning so fast in the name of hospitality which is in Indian blood it's simple and still authentic but it's not here! I didn't get a simple hi when I reached here rest I am not going to say they know better. All I am saying it can be lot better with small efforts.

Situated at one of the best spots near Lake Pichola with the best views along with everything nearby, Zostel Udaipur is a great place to stay which is not only economical but also a great experience. Especially the community manager Harsh, who has created a friendly environment for travellers with something fun happening in the evening everyday. In short, a great experience.

I was very excited for my stay at Zostel Udaipur, wanted to have new experience, new friends, I had booked a 4 bed ac dorm mixed , when i reached the location zostel was located step on incline but I had no issue with that (if u are travelling heavy u will face issues). Then I checked-in the process of which was easy, then I saw my room which was okay not so great not so bad. The playroom was definitely awful, their was only one pool stick the table was too close to wall on one side. Then comes the main important part, I had two roomates one was a girl who was okay, and was a guy. Both came late at night the girl came in quitely at around 12:30 a:m and the guy around 1:30 a:m started to turn the lights on using the toilet with gate open. Yes you heard it right, there is no 11 pm noise restrictions its all a sham, at around 3:30 am their were a bunch of kids maybe who just had passed their 12th class were there playing pool and howling, and as I recovered from those sounds the guy in my room had an alarm for 4 am, which he has to no intention to wake up from, probably just wanted to disturb, so the CONCLUSION is if you have any interest in sleeping then simply avoid any kind of hostels- Zostel as they are a sham. The only positive of Zostel was its terrace it was beautiful, but service was a notch slower than what you should expect. Good Luck.

To reach where this Zostel is located is a bit of an effort. The rooms were pretty decent.. not too great, but not too shabby either. Their food and drinks service is good.. they have their timings though. The common hangout place i.e. the game room is okay (not maintained that properly) The view from the roof top of this Zostel was something to look up to. All in all, a decent stay.

Zostel Udaipur is an amazing place to stay, stayed in a dorm, which was super clean, met a lot of new PPL, food was nice, service was good... Great location and one of the best parts was Harsh the community manager and the activities he had planned, each one was super fun and engaging. Looking forward to stay at a zostel.
