The food is decent, and it won't break the bank. The best part? You get to wake up with a view of those beautiful mountains. So, if you're looking for a good, affordable place to crash while you explore Srinagar, Zostel is a solid choice.

My stay at the hostel was quite pleasant, and it afforded me the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people. The rooms were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, which was a definite plus. While the food was satisfactory, what truly stood out was the heavenly hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, and their warmth and attentiveness made a world of difference. Overall, I had a great experience thanks to the wonderful people I met and the exceptional hospitality provided by the hostel staff.

Can't recommend enough, the place is great as a hostile and has everything you need. The people go out of there to ensure you have a great stay in Kashmir. Shabir went though my itinerary step by step and helped me navigate Kashmir without having to book a tour guide. He told me to call if I need any help and was incredibly helpful. I recommend to anyone to come here their first day in Kashmir to get helpful tips to navigate if they didn't solidly a plan yet.

I recently stayed at Zostel Srinagar and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the pedometer, which encouraged me to explore the area on foot. But what truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I can't wait to visit again!

Very good experience at Srinagar Zostel. The place has good parking space. Located at a very prime location which is 100 meters from Dal lake. Premise is very well maintained and one of the best zostel i have so far experienced. Clean bed and bathroom and floor in Dorms. Mineral water available at all floors. The view from terrace is amazing, especially the sunset.

I've been to a lot of hostels across the nation, but Zostel Srinagar was the best experience so far. I had the pleasure of meeting several incredible folks that enhanced my stay. The entire staff, especially Rameez bhai, who oversees the kitchen and cafe, was really kind and helpful. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

Decent location near dal lake, good for spring and summer, during winters it's just a bad place to get a local commute to the city centre. Also, zero activities from the hosts, it was fully booked yet dead in the evening. No help for local tours as well, something which should be a must especially in Srinagar.
