Zostel Plus Lonavala - Backpacker Hostel in Lonavala, Apati - Pune, India

We went to Zostel Plus for our Anniversary and it was extremely romantic and private. We booked the Cottage with Private Lawn which had the Pawna Lake view. The room and amenities are too notch. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 Star review is because of two things. 1. The food is extremely average. There aren't a lot of options in food. And the worse part is they have time slots between which you can't order certain things. The should have more options in the food menu and should be available throughout the day. 2. The road to Zostel Plus from the main road is in terrible condition. First of all, it's almost an hour away from Lonavala main area. And secondly, the entire route is extremely terrible. But we could easily ignore these things because of the great room, the great view and the privacy.

Cons -Wifi connection fluctuations -Some of the Staff double questions what you require -No person manning the kayaking, neither anyone to check on the customers who go kayaking into the river. Worst safety measures and docking system -Lunch and dinner menu options taste bad - Medicine/Cream is not stuffed adequately Pros - Rooms are good and jacuzzi is fantastic. - Breakfast taste is good - Property is elegant

Location: perfect Restaurant: poor in service and rates. Had to call bro's multiple to get one order through and neither do they pay attention. Rates for the food items are almost 4 star and the quantity is very limited which left us very unsatisfied. Example: Roti is Rs 55 each and steam rice is Rs 220. Reception: welcome was good but didn't like the dynamic pricing they quoted which I believe didn't exist at all to begin with. They were squeezing customers for simple things. Hospitality: has to purchased for a premium price. Games room: despite asking to replace the table tennis bats and balls multiple times they turned deaf ear. Cleanliness: excellent in key areas Parking: decent size, can create a good road with concrete. Overall, not highly recommended for a long stay.

Location of this property is perfect. Campus is also good and has multiple facilities to enjoy and get social. Rooms and dorms are cleaned timely. But staff is not really very friendly. Also Food prices in cafe are very high. Charged 300 plus taxes for watermelon juice. So deducting one star for that. All n all a good place to go solo and meet new people or hangout with friends.

It's a great place for a small gateway. If you are opting for a corporate package, don't opt for a food inclusion. Service degrades in that area. Location, Cleanliness, Live music performance and views were perfect, but they really need to work on better management and services. Staff attitude took away the rating.

One of the best locations of zostel I have come across. The property is just so beautiful. The lake view is absolutely mesmerizing. Don't miss the sunset from the pool at any cost. It's best for a vacation to sooth and relax yourself completely amidst nature. Although mobile networks don't really work well. The wifi connectivity shall save you. Food in terms of veg options I didn't prefer much. However since the location is quiet inside away from the main city of lonavala you don't really have other options.

Perfect place for a getaway with your friends/partner. The location is amazing and so are the facilities. Clean Rooms, Good quality food and availability of open spaces, activities games and swimming pool make the experience even more better:)

So we had booked private cottage room with lake view and Jacuzzi. Room was really nice but the restaurant service was not up to the mark. Checkout was at 10 am and breakfast was suppose to start at 8 am but that didn't happen till 9:15 am. We had to miss the brkfst and leave as we had our train. After paying so much, we still has to miss it. The food served in the room was a bit cold, not great but better. Rest everything was good.
