Zostel Munnar - Backpacker Hostel in Munnar, Pallivasal - Idukki, India

I recently stayed at Zostel Munnar and had an outstanding experience. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, providing me with valuable information about local attractions and activities. One aspect that truly stood out was the cleanliness of the property. The rooms, common areas, and bathrooms were impeccably maintained. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. Overall, my stay at Zostel Munnar was fantastic, thanks in large part to the exceptional staff and the high level of cleanliness. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Munnar.

It is a nice place with a good vibe. The location is pretty outside of Munnar so it's better if you take a car along with you otherwise you have to book a cab/auto to go to Munnar. Apart from the location the place is nice the washrooms were pretty clear, the room was pretty clear and even the common room was well maintained. But there are some restrictions because of the neighbour like the common room at the top floor closes at 10-30 and the music in the common room stops at 11-30. Apart from the above points it was a good place to stay.

I had the best hostel experience at Zostel Munnar. I was a bit skeptical after reading a few reviews, but to my surprise it turned out really great. The Manager, Staffs and the volunteer all made our stay a really good one. They were very helpful with arranging for the activities and all our need.The rooms and washrooms were very clean and the property is well maintained .There were many programs scheduled. It has a huge gaming room on the top floor and then a bonfire on the terrace. It was totally a different vibe all together. The cafeteria is also there, the food was pretty good and reasonable price.I would 100 % recommend zostel for your stay at Munnar.

Away from the touristy hustle, the zostel is situated in a scenic location. The road leading to it might be a little tricky. Very comfortable stay and helpful staff, they arrange activities and had setup a campfire too. The cafeteria is good and decently affordable. Overall a good place to say if you just want to stay among and the nature and chill

Zostel Munnar is at a great location. Cafe and the food is amazing. Great place for solo travellers. Even this zostel has fire place great terrace with a lot of games etc

Great experience staying at Zostel, Munnar... The rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Plenty of activities to indulge in at the common areas. The view from the rooms are just breathtaking and the staff were really friendly and helpful too. Must visit!

This was my first Zostel experience and I loved it so much. Located in a peaceful location, you'd love the view and sounds of the nature. My dorm was clean and everything was in proper condition. Food was great!I made ***y new friends here and had so much fun dancing with them and having bonfire.Zostel arranged few good things like bonfire and music.Loved the overall experience except for the sleep part. I think if you need sound sleep, private room is better than dorm coz people coming in dorm at anytime disturbes your sleep. Rest all good, 5* from me!

The con i would say was the check-in process, which required each one of us to web check-in, and it took multiple attempts and still failed. Also the location is a bit away from proper Munnar town.But still I would 100 % recommend zostel for your stay at Munnar.
