Zostel Manali (Vashisht) - Backpacker Hostel in Manali, Bashisht - Kullu, India

Lived here for 5 days, awesome experience, manager was sweet, food was great, rooms were clean. Great arrangement for people working. Also you can play indoor games there. Great view of city from balcony. Highly recommend.

It is a good location with an amazing view even though there is no parking facility and the streets are crazy. Rooms are clean and well maintained except the stair case that will lead the way up to 2bed room is extremely slant and you feel very difficult to climb with luggage. Entry point to the room is soooo cramped you literally have to duct and crawl to enter. Food Service is fast however taste is not quite satisfactory

This was an amazing stay. With fantastic views and a peacefull stillness in the heights. The background noise of beas river just adds to the touch. The facilities are all good (books, games, music and even a mini home theatre) , the interior design is awesome again, giving you a retro wood hut in the heights experience. Place wise, vashist is far better than manali as it's located in heights, u have better view.

Great interiors, you will have to climb quite a bit though. The road to the hostel is quite small and there are no signs and mostly people don't know the way. It's also not listed on Google maps. The owner is not always at the reception so your calls may be unanswered sometimes. It was hard to track the hostel but eventually you will. It's quite a walk from the main road- close to Hidimba temple. The food here is average. However the rooms are v nice and comfy.

Location is superb. I booked a mixed dorm with balcony on 3rd floor. Views from the 3rd floor are amazing. Property is very spacious and neat and clean. Loved the service, food, hosts and vibe.

This place is quite hard to reach but the climb is worth it. It has one of the amazing view! Perfect for a workcation! It has multiple indoor activities (Board games, Cards Uno etc.,) Staffs and volunteers were amazing. Common rooms were neatly maintained. Food was good. Overall had an amazing experience. Vashisht temple and Hot springs and Starting trail to Jogni waterfalls is close by to the place.

While this zostel is slightly difficult to reach (it's a decent climb, or at least it was for me), the view is MIND-BLOWING. There are quite a few zostels in and around Manali, but the one in Vashisht is incredible. The rooms are clean, we heard the Beas river roaring day and night, and the Zostel is surrounded by apple trees. Definitely visit this one!

Zostel Vashisht surpassed all expectations during a recent natural calamity. The entire staff, particularly Akhil, displayed remarkable kindness and assistance. The picturesque location, comfortable rooms, and inviting common areas create a perfect getaway. When disaster struck, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure guest safety, going above and beyond. Regular updates, alternative accommodations, and emotional support were provided, showcasing their professionalism and resourcefulness.
