It was my first visit to Manali & zostel made it a very memorable trip. The stay is super safe & the folks managing the property are super helpful. We also made so many good friends during our stay. Also, their cafe has food that makes you feel at home. Overall, it's one of the best places to stay & if you are a traveler, come experience the best part of your travel at zostel old manali

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Zostel (Old Manali) during my recent trip to Himachal, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt welcomed and pampered in every way possible. The staff was outstanding, particularly Mr. Udai Raj, the lively and charming personality. He had a whimsical aura that was not only professional and attentive but also warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether I had a question about the local area or needed assistance with anything in the hotel, he was always there with a smile taking me through the valleys, guiding me and doing every possible thing that made my trip unique, memorable and unforgettable.

honestly, my friends and i really liked the place and we had a very comfortable time here. but we are forced to give a bad review because we are positive that a volunteer at this hostel stole a pair of airpods that belonged to us. we had left them at the hostel (our fault) and we immediately called the hostel. the volunteer told us he found them and he'd keep it for us until til we got back from our 3 day hike. when we got back, he acted like he didn't know what were talking about while we were absolutely certain he was the one who found them. he kept playing unaware and we were forced to leave without the airpods. a day later, my friend's "find my" feature informed us that the airpods were being used in the hostel. no matter how good the place is, we cannot tolerate such deceit and thievery.

Love the vibe of the place. i celebrated my birthday here and i couldn't have been happier. Udai the volunteer is doing a great job too. The staff is polite and warm. cleanliness is amazing. Food is like home food. 100% recommended!

Quaint location where you can smell the earth, lovely views, great vibes, clean rooms, and friendly hosts. Uday, the super host, will take you to hidden hikes and philosophical journeys with equal elan! And Pritam is more of a friend than a manager and will ensure that your stay in here will be relaxing and memorable.

I visited this place twice and would love to go this place again and again. Food is good, dorms are good, staff are super friendly specially Uday. This place has unique vibe. Go for it without any hesitation. I made lots of friends there.

The whole experience was amazing. Rooms were clean and well equipped. I was in a female dorm and every bed had its own small lamp and charging point which came really handy to charge my gadgets late night. But the best part of staying in zostel(old Manali) was the host "Uday" , he made my first solo trip the best. Right after I reached the place I had my breakfast( which was affordable and fresh) and later Uday took us to a refreshing trek which helped in bonding with each other. He went out of his ways & helped everybody to maximise the experience. I appreciate your efforts in the making of "zostel-old Manali " real fun, Thank you So, if you are also doubtful about your "first solo trip" like I was , just go for it and you will never regret it....
