Zoo Shop - Souvenir store in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

Three times costlier than the Zoo outside shop prices. Even if the owner agree to give 5 percent discount its not worth purchasing. Though the shop is maintained clean and neat, it is very congested inside the shop. The shop has many varieties of home decorative and dolls which attract both kids and elders.

This shop cheats it's customers by sticking a separate BILL SLIP over the original MRP bill over the cover. There is nothing like 10% concession etc. I purchased a deodorant over there for which they billed Rs. 149 as per a bill lable adhered over deodorant box. Once I reached home, I realised that the original company MRP was just Rs. 48 (for which I paid Rs. 101 extra). So, kindly go through the original price before paying what they say.

They are cheating customers with high rates for products! We purchased a perfume bottle on which there was a sticker mentioning 155/- but under which the printed mrp was just 48/- !! They are doing a fraud business!

Mostly consists of common souvenirs. Not worth for the price.

Vey limited items. More focus on tshirts souvenir than wild animal soft toys. Earlier we had visited in 2014 and it had beautiful collection animal soft toys we had purchased Macau zebra etc. This time only could get Leopard n flamingo. Disappointed

Rude staff closed the door on my face just as I was entering. They used hand sign and asked me to go away. They could said the same thing politely instead of closing the door on me physically.

Mysore Zoo still uses the old technology for moving food for the animals. The forgotten modes of transport can be again seen in Mysore Zoo and the adjoining Karinji Lake.

Very expensive stuff
