Very good place for outing. Natural beauty. Everyone can enjoy here....kids, adults, aged... Zoo is also there Lake is there Adventure is there Walking path Train for enjoyment Street food too Electric vehicle for site seeing Happiness in less amount Note: Monday is closed.

One can spend weekend here. I would suggest to enjoy the zoo before the afternoon so that you can enjoy the kankaria lake atmosphere in the evening and night. Also adding a cool enjoyable pic I took on a hot summer where a squirrel was enjoying the air from the cooler.

Kankaria Zoo is now open... Best part is they have started a mini drive .. which can boarded after paying small charge of 30rs per person ... than take a tour of the zoo with little stop overs... and enjoy with your kids. Very Few Animals but you will get lot of parrots and other birds only one tiger, lion, leopard, elephant etc Nice place for kids for those who are watching live animals for first time

a very good place to visit for weekends especially for kids. We find here a very good collection of animals from different breeds. Snake house is also there. They have even kept white tiger-one of the rare tigers. But the only thing i have complaint or even i felt very very bad is the cages of animals were not kept cleaned properly. When u r caging animals, atleast they should be kept neat and clean.Rest a very informative place. Even info-boards are kept outside each cage depicting from where each animal belongs,its habitat,food,lifestyle,etc. everything you need to know as a person who likes to gather information about animals. Moreover i will advice to take time of atleast 3 hrs and go as there is much to see there and where time will pass you will not even realize. Or else you will not be able to see the whole zoo;infact there is much to walk.

Such a fun loving place where people enjoy seeing All types of God's creation, Animals and birds and each and every creature are so natural .
