It's actually called Thomas park and has a bus stop. Now this is transformed into Zone 2 as part of Smart City initiative. Visited once when they showed mini movies on the tower display, good experience and entertainment for kids ,heard the entire LED display was split into two half and made in china :). The mini shows are displayed on Saturday and Sunday evenings I believe.
Great place for kids to enjoy......young and fitness freaks for walking and experience people to rest.
Fantastic and wonderful place to chat with friends & family. Ambiance is too good to roam around the city's best place. Now they enhanced this place with cool features like swing, granite benches, models of Eiffel tower, paisa towers etc.. Best place to hang out. Snacks available most of the time through local vendors. I personally like to take tea time here. Racecourse is an emotional place to Coimbatorians. Best or worst, happy or sad we like to sit for a while here. I can't forgot those days I roamed with my friends here. Perfect for family time as well.
