Narmada Dam look so nice from here good place to visit you can see hole near area from upper side view is soo good from here.
Its high and beautiful near omkareshwar temple in khandwa district. We travelled there by bus from ujjain. There are lot of busses from ujjain but make sure that the bus drops you at omkareshwar. You can find a bus from ujjain in morning direct to omkareshwar. But if you miss it then you have to reach at nana kheda bust stand at ujjain and from there you have to go to Indore bua stop. The fare is rs 60. And from Indore in 90 rs you can go to omkareshwar bus stand. From there you can walk or can take rikshaw or or auto to temple. Cheap and comfortable lodges are also available there with variety of food. There are some other temples like Mamleshwar and Annapurna to visit via boat or by foot. After that you can go to zero point which is a hight place to explore the whole town. Its beautiful and natural. You can see the dam from there which is holding the great river yamuna
Very nice place on the top to see the view of the Back Water of Omkareshwar Dam. From here Sailani Island can also be seen.
No words for the view of zero point ultimate experience........
Entry on the Narmada Barrage is restricted so one can enjoy the view from this place.
This please is situated on the top of a small hill at an altitude of around 100 meters at a flat decent.
Apart from the view of Narmada dam and Omkareshwar hills don't expect much here
It's a dam where narmada and Kaveri river meets.
Though place is good but approach road is bad and no sign boards indicating direction. Cross Canol and take immediate left. Ask the guard for directions.
This viewpoint is show the whole map of Omkareshwar and Dam
beautiful digambar jain temple, located in a serene and calm location, on the banks of narmada river. you can reach by taking a left before barwaha on the khandwa road. Google Maps mislead the route via omkareshwar, as that road near the omkareshwar
This place is around 7 kms from Omkareshwar. Nicely built rooms, Super spacious and clean. This hotel has an in-house restaurant which is more famous than rooms. Plenty of food items available and the food is good in taste. I would advice this place
Dormitory gents wash room condition is not credited. Not proper cleaning, stoppers were not proper for bathroom. Wash area is so bad urine smale. Other is good.
Omkareshewer best hotel, Near market & Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar Mandir ,
best service Hotel is very nice and the behaviour of staff is also so good i love the hotel and i will suggest everyone to stay ....once again thank you for the good behaviou
The island resort is very peaceful and scenic with top notch hospitality. One can enjoy the rush in their life with most comfortable and peaceful stay there.
The only and most important suggestion is please don't visit the place at evening or night
This is the place where you get food for rupees 30 per person. You get unlimited refill of food by just paying rupees 30.
To talk about the food, it was very nice but bit spicy. Mostly in Madhya Pradesh, you will find food with a little extra spice.
Omkareshwar Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in the town of Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, India. Situated on the banks of the holy Narmada River, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds immense religious significance for devotees.
The balcony view is truly amazing and so peaceful. I spent hours there on my first evening. However, on the second day a family of monkeys decided to play there!!
This is a significant drawback of this place.
The authorities need to enclose the balco
The location is very close to the Jyotirling. The hotel staff is also very courteous. They help you with all car and auto bookings. The only problem you face during peak hours is that the road to the temple gets closed to control the crowd so better
