Tried Chicken Mandi. Amazing! I went alone and ordered a quarter plate and thought it might not be enough for a person but when it came on the table, it was quite something. 2 People with less appetite can eat one quarter or 1 person with a huge appetite can only be able to finish the quality plate. It comes with tomato garlic chutney, salad and mayonnaise. Recommended!
My visit to Zeit Restaurant was so good! The ambiance was delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for Eating. What truly stood out me was their unlimited Mandi offering. The Mandi rice was not only incredibly tasty but also available in endless portions, making it a must-try. I recommend Zeit for its great ambiance and the delightful Mandi and alfaham experience.

Amazing Mandhi experience. May be we were not expecting it to be good. But felt it to be better than many "mandhi special" restaurants in Calicut! Flavors were prominent in the rice. Food and service used to be good here but not anymore. A Monday afternoon I went there and ordered chicken mandhi. Guess what, they served me Sunday's leftover mandhi. And that too the chicken was too salty and rice was definitely not like before.. Seems like cheff might be changed. Anyway, bye bye zeit. Not anymore. To the management - Food scene in varkala is much better than before. There are many restaurants serving good food.
