Zaitoon Restaurant, Adyar - Middle Eastern restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Went for a late night dinner with friends. It was almost closing time but almost all the dishes were available. The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. We had tandoori, lollipop, Kozi rice chicken, fried rice and rotis with Indian gravy. All the dishes were good and served hot. We also had brownie sizzler with ice cream and it was also very good.

The food here is really tasty. They have got variety of options, one can always try something new. What one wants more than a good atmosphere with great service with amazing taste.

The restaurant is situated in the posh neighborhood of Adyar and has a high-end ambience. The waiters, however, could improve their attentiveness. The prices are a bit steep, and the Chicken Biryani is not accurately named, as it contains only a leg piece. The Naan bread was too thick, but the Paneer Butter Masala was exceptional in taste.

You can blindly go for Zaitoon if you are a food lover and you could try a variety of dishes available here. It's kid friendly but be there as much as possible because it will be crowded after 8 PM. I have been here for a couple of times and it gives me immense pleasure to rate this restaurant. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you. Have a good time

One of the best recommended hotel in adyar for good food at the best price. Portion sizes and ambiance is great and food tastes good. Always recommend the same for every food lovers who wants to dine out with family.

Good food to start with, you'll probably wait in a queue but it's worth it. Try their chicken kebab varieties (we had the honey kebab, tasted awesome). They have a variety of rices, grills, kebabs, breads and gravies (a multi cuisine place basically). Do make sure to try their kunafa (they have like 7 different flavours)

The restaurant is located underground. The ambience is really good and the food always takes good. Zaitoon is famous of their grill and barbeque, must try. One star i reduced is because of food once I ordered grill fish , we got food poisoning after having it.
