The houseboat is in a great location away from crowded Dal lake. The interiors are so nice and feel Royal. The rooms are good. The food taste is excellent and homely. Staff are friendly and polite. Only issue we faced was the room heater was not switched on as the staff told it would be available only from November. We slept in damn cold. Advice to management is room heater should be available on need basis. The rate can be adjusted as appropriate. Otherwise, great stay !

We, a family of three visited Zafferbhai Deluxe houseboat on 25/11/23 on a single day stay. Since our houseboat was on Nigeen lake, we had to leave our shopping at Lal chowk midway to hurry to the houseboat as it gets pretty dark around 6pm in this time of the year. But as we reached the shore, the service was amazing. We were immediately picked up by a shikara guy who loaded all our heavy bags & in the shikara smoothly dropped us to our houseboat in 10 minutes. On the boathouse we were greeted by Mr Wasim who was very courteous in his approach. The food was above average. The water was very hot & so was the food. Only problem is that due to government regulations the warmer is switched off at 11 pm. You are given a hot water bag for the later. We checked out at 8am sharp as we had an early flight. Breakfast was on table at 7:30 & shikara guy was there at 7:45. I really admire the punctuality, coming from Mumbai. I would recommend a day's stay at Zafferbhai's deluxe houseboat. Just disconnect from the crowd and enjoy the serenity of the lake. P.S : The moon looks awesome & so does the early morning sun. Don't forget to click a few snaps.

Best location for stay on the lake. Not crowded as the dal lake. Wasim was very helpful and took me to the chemist when needed. Food is good, they have veg and non veg options.

Beautiful stay, amazing service and pleasant atmosphere. Must visit place. Aadhil was our caretaker and he was very kind and approachable. He ensured that we are comfortable and all our needs are met. This boat house was more than beautiful. one of my wonderful experiences in Srinagar.

I arrived with my family. I was greeted by Adil who was the care taker of our House Boat named Golden Lotus. As soon as we entered the House Boat we were amazed with the interiors of the Boat. As we entered there was seating area and there was gate to get inside, than there was hall with TV, small library, sofa. The next room was dinning area with sitting area of 8 person. Than there was a staircase for the roof there was sitting area as well. Next there was room accommodation for 3 people with personal bathroom with bath tub. Next there was another suite room which was very big with sofa inside. There was Wifi available here. The interiors was great. We were welcomed here with complimentary tea. The care taker was also very good. The staff was very accommodative. My mom did not eat anything from the buffet, so they made a dish of her preference specially so that she would eat, I liked that about them. We took pictures from the House Boat and all were really good because the background was scenic. There were Shikaras, greenery and a few snow capped mountains . The workmanship in the House Boat was amazing. There sellers use to visit us from Shikara to buy their products like Clothes , Jewellery, Special Kashmiri Kahwa , handicrafts Items and lot . It was one of the most amazing experience I've ever had.

Stinky rooms. When we asked why the smell is coming they simply said to cover the toilet lid and stink will stop. Some of the wooden logs in the bot are about to break making it a huge security issue. Food was the only good thing.

There are good houseboats, there are bad houseboats and there are average houseboats. BUT Have you ever heard about a FRAUD houseboat!!! Welcome to Wagnoo Sheraton and Zafar Group of houseboats. We had booked 2 houseboats in Wagnoo Sheraton through a travel agency more than 1 month in advance. but when we arrived we were given rooms in Zafar houseboat. when we conveyed our concerns, they said both are same. That Zafar is only name of the boat. Group is Wagnoo only. But we found out there was flag of zafar group on top of boat. All crockery had logos of Zafar. Then they agreed that this is zafar and started saying owner of both is same. What we had to do with owner?? Then they said both boats are totally same. But there were stark differences. There was no proper terrace in ours and rooms were not centralised cooled as claimed by them. Never ever book Housboat in wagnoo sheraton and Zafar. Really fraud guys and blatant liars. Moreover rooms are stinky. Location is not good.

I have visited to these housboat's on family vacation. Courtesy of staff is good Location is scenic and peaceful. Really loved the peacefulness and enjoyed the beauty
