Yummy Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

We ordered lacha paratha, they gave half cooked. When we asked them to cook it properly the waiter called manager, the manager came gave weired look and said we cant cook it again in tandoor. I asked him to replace it then He took it and put back in tandoor burnt from outside & gave it us. It was again not cooked properly from inside. We finally had to leave it & order something else. The staff was not bothered at all. Also dont go buy the name, NOTHING IS YUMMY HERE, pathetic taste , overpriced and poor service

It is a good restaurant and situated in an easily noticeable area (very close to the junction). The food was good and was of Tamil Nadu style. Both non - vegetarian and vegetarian foods are available. The service was also good. The ambiance was just average. The seating was good but the maintanence was less. But the cleanliness was less. Toilet facilities were available but it was really - really awful.

One of the biggest and standard restaurant in Ootty. With lots of parking space. Dining room also very spacious. People from different state of India are visiting Ootty who all are also coming to the restaurant. The foods are very tasty and the restaurant is very hygiene. Good rest rooms are available. Wheelchair accessible entrance not available here. The staffs are very friendly. Almost all kinds of foods available here. Some of the foods photos are attached here. The restaurant is located Gudallore road,Ootty. We can get hotel rooms to stay near by this restaurant.

We ordered Chicken Lollipop and Butter chicken. The taste was ok. With the crowd it seems that this is very popular restaurant in Ooty.

We visited Yummy restaurant on March 20th with family. Positives: 1)The plates were cleaned twice. A person cleans the plate again before bringing it to the table. Most of the other restaurants lack this and upon wiping the plate with a tissue, you will see the stain of food. But here it was very neat. 2) The taste was awesome. To be Frank , we had very low expectations earlier. 3) Good customer Service 4) Parking space available. 5) Located in one of the prime spot. 6) Order on time. Recommended for cleanliness , taste and parking availability.

The food was good and tasty. Tried Noodles and Fried rice. Grilled chicken was perfect and met the expectation. Curd Rice as usual is nice.

We had dinner there, The food was good and delicious. When you're in Ooty you can try their food without a second thought. Hygienic wise also it's very good and clean. I can say the best hotel in Ooty.
