Youth Hostels of India (YHAI) - Youth Hostel in Rourkela - Sundargarh, India

We had a booking here for the groom side as all the other guest house and hotel bookings for cancelled due to Hockey World Cup. You can say it is slightly isolated as you will not find absolutely anything nearby. You have to walk to the main road which is around 800 meters away from where you may get public transportation or you can try booking an Uber. The rooms are really spacious along with the bathrooms. There is AC as well as a geyser available in each room. There is an open space available inside the compound which can be utilised to park vehicles or grab a cup of tea in the winters. There are a total of 10 rooms available. The beds are bit on the hard side. It's just a hostel so it's fine for what normally young people will look for. They have not started any canteen yet, so fooding is really a problem.

One of the nicest place..so neat and clean... peaceful area...we arranged an engagement ceremony near by jagannath temple..nice view..

Well as per my parents teaching they told me that we must adujust according to the situation .At first when i saw rhe place bit dissapointed but later realized that its a good and isolated place . Overall i had a nice experience staying near environment apart from the city hawl.

This place is nicely built now. With proper space of rooms along with other basic amenities. This Guest house is also well maintained
