Rooms are not clean at all. Pillows & beds were stinking a lot
Very ill designed hotel. The rooms are so very much small that you cant even move around. On top of it, the bed legs are protruding half a feet outside. You will definitely hurt yourself once or twice during your stay. I was staying in room 106, the bathroom door didnt close. Food is expensive & need to inform well in advance. Camp fire charges are very high & staff is moderately cooperative. For the amenities, this place is very expensive. I will not recommend it.
Very peaceful place to stay. Service is non existent as of now, so you will have to order in food or go out to eat. Two types of accomodation available: family rooms with beds for 4, with A/C and wooden cottages for couples (no A/C). Rooms have TVs, the left side family room has a bathtub. Rest of the rooms have shower and western commodes only. Hot and cold water available but no wifi. Campfire available on request. They do have tea and bread omelettes for breakfast, which is served at around 8 or 9 am.
This place is ok ok. Went as family.
The.location os awesome.
Overall:
Average to good and could be due to covid situation. No reception and only two care takers to help. Good care takers.
There are only 8 cottage type rooms and rooms can be better maintained.
Facility: TV was not charged by the owner, as per the care takers. We had ants, snails and spiders with us in bathrooms. Fresh water bottles were made available to rooms only on persistant requests.
Food: No breakfast and food had to be ordered well in advance as no resturants and had to be homemade. For us we felt the lunch far too expensive with quality being average. Night dinner was ordered well in advance and hence was prepared very well.
Security: Walk ways can be a little more illumuniated. A little deserted and scary at night without adequate security.
Environment: Approach road from the enterance to the parking place can be maintained much better. Outside needed some cleaning and maintenance.
Morning was very pleasant with beautiful weather and scerenity. The care takers did their best and a big thanks to them.
I hope the management takes care something soon to attract tourists with tourism opening up.
Overall average to good experience .
this is a home stay in between coffee plantation not much as resort . camp fire is for extra charge of 200 rs. rooms are good but no view of plantation. there is very poor lighting done for night time. over all avrage stay.
There is no reception in this resort ,no security guard ,the person who is taking care of the place doesn't know hindi or English, doesn't know how to read.
We booked the room through calling them in prior 20 days, they have there main branch in mysore ,we wanted to stay in cottage room the person who helped us to booked the room, she confirmed that we will get the cottage room ,but then later 3days before check in ,she called and stating that we mistakenly double booked the room, we can give you the room in near by property, can you manage and all.But then after wasting our 1,2 hours over call she said we can give you deluxe room in the same property.
Now ,we reached there by morning 4 AM,no one was there in main gate actually there no main gate at all, anyone can come,we were not able to recognise which one is the reception area, finally after struggling for half an hour ,we manage to go to the last corner home where outside light was on ,we knocked one person came out, he gave the room key and said morning we will talk.
We felt kind of fishy and also scary, morning he took the remaining amount but didn't ask for I'd no receipt given nothing, no check in and no check out.We stayed here for one day.
Overall it was a okay okay experience but we were lucky that nothing bad happened.
I think management should think about their hospitality and security of guest.
Good ambience, but no breakfast or food available at the place. You'll have to go 6km to find the nearest restaurants. The rent of the stay might be different online from what the staff quote at the venue. Didn't stay here because of the same reason.
I had booked to wood houses 25th & 26 Dec'18.
The place is well maintained. Around 1.5 kms from the circle towards Virajpet Road. Rooms and washrooms clean , good and well maintained. A unique experience to stay in a coffee estate. A serine peaceful location.
The staff are polite and helpful in all aspects.
There is no in-house restaurant. But with prior order they serve tasty homely food veg/non-veg at reasonable enough price.
