Very calm place Yogini pond of Trivediganj development block area is full of mysteries. The mysterious stories about this pond are told by the elders, who listen to them and also come to know about the interesting story of the discovery of a big water source. About two hundred years ago, there was a pond and Shivling in a dense forest, about which no one knew, once there was a severe drought, then all the ponds had dried up, yet a shepherd's buffalo, a resident of Shivanam, used to bathe in the forest every day. It was, one day, the shepherd tied a petal around his neck. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the pot. After bathing in the pond, when the buffalo walked towards the house, water started dripping from the hole. Seeing the ground wetted by the same water droplets, the shepherd reached the huge water-filled pond in the forest where many yoginis were worshiping and dancing to the Shivalinga after taking a bath. On reaching the shepherd, the Yoginis surrounded him and made him sit respectfully and explained that he should not inform anyone about it, but after a few days that shepherd told the secret of the pond to his other companions, after which he died. After the secret of the pond was revealed, people reached the pond and during the drought, the water of the pond became nectar for them. People called it Yogini Talab.
