YHAI Youth hostel - Backpacker Hostel in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

One of the best youth hostel yhai in India. Care taker Arun ji is very helpful and understanding. Owner prahlad ji is a passionate person. Had very relaxed stay away from city noises.

A good place to stay when you're travelling in a group. Ample rooms and dormitory available. Bathrooms are hygienic, water is available 24/7. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Considering the price, it's pretty good. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. A bit away from the city.

It's very far from the main City, building is not like a hostel or a hotel but like a home. The best part is the Food that is cooked here with all home ingredients and breakfast also very tasty. The things I didn't like were you are not allowed to wear shoes in the building, the list which were proposed here were different than the other ones like capacity of the students and shifting of the rooms without prior information. The manager here is a big man but needs to learn manage the things properly. No shops nearby no vehicles after 10pm. Night is not the time to check out. Average experience

Recently visited this place.It is more like one is staying as paying guest than hostel. Good things: 1.Reasonbly good food. Other than good things: The picture depicted during enquiry on phone call was fulfilled only up to 50%. No clear idea about the expenses,package,transportation charges was given at the starting or on phone call and the amount demanded at the time of checkout was too high and no option was there other than giving that much amount as already tour has completed.
