Diwali visit 13th Nov full day enjoyed with no fogg medium chillness. Plan 1.Boat House, 2.Chervarayan temple hills (visit morning 6 to 7 good time), 3.Ladies seat, 4.gents seat. Day over. Next day 14th nov plan Kiliyur falls was cancelled, 14th morning medium rain with heavy fogg wind. So chillness. Return to hometown. Enough for 2 days 1 night.

You can feel the nature. Lot of Hotels are there. Government Hotel gives us cheap & best for staying & food. Some costly Hotels also there. But a common man cant enter there. Yercaud is a Hill Station in Salem district. One of the important and famous tourist spot in Salem District/Tamilnadu. Main crop in yercaud is Coffee Plantation. You can see coffee plants while travel to Yercaud and surrounding area also. In Yercaud, Lake, View Point and Temple are there. In the Lake, Boating facility is there. There is no doubt it's a great place, but the administration has to do lot of improvements like... for example street light from down the hill to top, very few light... After 6.30 pm it's dark. Some time Google map don't work because of weak signals. Near by there is one wall falls, there is no safy no watchman over there for visitors. Etc. more improvements needed to increase tourist.
Good place, people call this place as mini Ooty. It's a cool and decent place. We have travelled by bike and roads are still not in good condition to ride for bikers. It has good weather but Tourism needs to be improved.

I visited this place on july month and it was one of the best trips that I've ever had in Tamilnadu. This place is situated near salem. It's a small high range township. The people are very nice and very helping. The highlight of Yercaud is the night view from the top, it's just awesome. We went out early morning for the night also the sunrise is beautiful.

32 km loop road to Yercaud from Salem is a pleasure to drive. Its wide enough for two cars/buses. So its not risky or adventurous. But be very careful since its ghat road with 20 hairpin bends. There will be bikes speeding through.. may be localitie
