This Housing board complex was constructed in 1980s. This complex was only shopping place for Yelahanka New Town during that period. There was a shop Vinayak Stores popular for any needed items.
This pillar of New Town, came about when the rest was still being thought of. Housing many important offices like Bangalore 1 , the old licensing authority, it served well until moved to newer premises for lack of space

It is good complex. But overall building inside not maintained neatly. In steps people spit beeda etc. Cleanliness not there.
Miserable place, stinks of urine and spittle evrrywhere you oom with zero maintenance.Few shops function with others shutters rolled down. Going up the steps is dangerous while one entrance to the first floor is permanently closed down. Its a shame witg BBMP offices situated right behind this building across the road not bothered to look into the affairs. Overall an Eyesore in every sense of the word.
This place has lots of small food stalls ( specially evenings) ..variety of dosa, pav, momos, some form of munchrians, ice creams ..economical and multiple options..but all is stand and eat..you can always visit with family.

I visited afnan. Strategically located. Well stocked with all kinds of dry fruits. Staff is well mannered. Rates and quality of dry fruits I purchased was reasonable. Will surely visit again
