Yelahanka Lake - Nature preserve in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

A calm and beautiful place, though within the city you won't hear much traffic noise or vehicles around once you're inside. Rich with flora and fauna. One of the best spots to see the sunset within the city. It has a very scenic view over the landscape and you can capture amazing pictures based on the time you reach the lake. You can walk all around the perimeter of the lake. It has a small parking area but if you are travelling by two wheeler, it shouldn't be an issue. There were speakers which were connected to the radio FM and it was nice to hear around when you go about the park. I wish it was available at many other parks around the city too.

Nicely maintained Lake, with a cemented and mud track circling complete Lake. The open gym equipments are wonderful and love to work on those everyday. They have been maintained well. I go between 6 to 7 AM and don't feel crowded. While multiple public toilet are present but only one is available for use and still haven't used it, so not sure of cleanliness If a public drinking water is available it would have been a good options. overall it's a pleasant and beautiful maintained lake

What a Nice place to visit...I went here in morning, and the view i saw was just amazing. You should must go for walkinng or running, both tracks are there side by side. You will definitely enjoy.

Yelahanka Lake is an ideal picnic spot and a great place to unwind in nature after a long day at work. The park encompasses nine acres of land and includes well-kept, lush green lawns, well-organized flower beds, kid's areas, outdoor fitness equipment, and jogging tracks for the public. There are plenty of paved areas in the park for playing sports fields. Wheelchair access is available at Cheluvamba Park. Picnic areas are available in the park for visitors. Yelahanka Park is a pretty park that allows people and children to relax and play.

Love this place for jogging, walking, meditation and yoga. The park and the lake is well maintained, the path circles around the lake, there is a muddy path and a pedestrian path. It's ideal for runners. There is shaded space for one to sit and do yoga too. You can bring along your mat. There are also things for kids to do, a small kids area with fun rides to keep them busy. The flowers and trees are maintained by the park staff and it's quiet neat and clean. Finding parking could be tricky outside the lake. But many people park right outside and finish the run or morning walk quickly to go back home.

If u hav to escape the city life atleast for few moments it's the best place to be . The most underrated place in Banglore. So beautiful and peaceful. There's a long clean paths and on the sides there's well maintained garden with benches to sit nd relax or hav a grp chat. There's patrolling. The sunset view is calm , extra ordinary and there's a small temple like infrastructure alongside. Now a children's park is introduced at the beginning and so it is a bit crowded there but as u walk along it get calmer and quieter. It's the best place to b in Banglore to reconnect to yourself and nature. Gud for excersizing/walk/jog. There is few parking slots available and no tickets required to get in . Best to b there during golden hours.

Wonderful lake for walking in the evenings, it tends to get pretty cold so a jacket is mostly recommended. An extremely peaceful lake which I feel is missing out on being calm and serene because of noisy and irritating speakers that have been installed everywhere within a short distance. If not for that, this place would be amazing for coming on walks, strolls, jogging or even just sitting around for a while. Boating is going to start very soon and I'm sure that will definitely attract a larger crowd, I really wish the parking was a bit better because somehow it feels a bit unsafe to park here, it would be a good choice to even start some kind of paid parking not just in the main entrance because there are multiple portals of entering the lake and to make full use of that, some more measures for good parking need to be taken. Overall, a lovely place for a morning or evening walk.
