Decent small 4 plateform station, typical old style still with things on the slower side. Has all the basic facilities and is accessible via cab/auto all the time.

Very peaceful railway station as it is located outside the main city. Connectivity is very nice from City since it is very near to Yelahanka bus stand. The station is not very busy unlike yesvantpur and kr puram but some major trains stop here. Some more facilities like waiting rooms and food facilities can be improved.
Clean and peaceful railway station of Northern Bengaluru. Not all but many north going/coming trains have stoppage at Yelahanka. Tip: to catch the BMTC bus don't exit from the main gate of the railway station. Walk to the left most corner of the platform number 1 (left: facing the main entrance), just outside there's a bus stand. Or just ask anyone that would be better.
