Yashwant Sagar Dam - Tourist attraction in Ushapura - Indore, India

The dam was built in the year 1939 , perfect spot To chill and hangout for a small picnic with family . Went there during monsoons in case the gates are open !!! I personally find peace in such areas with nature around me so serene !!!

Beautiful scenic reservoir situated in outskirts of Indore just after Hatod town. This a whole ecosystem for many species. Fishermen here provide fresh fishes from reservoir at a good price right in front of your eyes.

Visited this place in the afternoon while I was returning from Gulawat Lotus Valley... The place is good to visit at sunrise or sunset... It can be developed as good tourist place... The place has garden which is not maintained...still the scenery is good.... It has parking for four wheeler and two wheeler...

This place is great to visit in rainy days, if you want to see calm water reservoir. If govt can take this place seriously and develop under MP Tourism, can be much more fun. Nothing much to do and gets worst in heavy rain due to mud.

Lovely place to be in monsoons when the dam is full! Eat corns at the place while gazing at the greens of the gardens and water in the dam. Quite an experience if it rains while you're there. **Request note- Please do not litter the place. Keep it neat and tidy. The water body here is the main source for many households.

A place around 14km away from super corridor from indore, If you had a mood for long drive then it's a good place to visit with friends or family in the monsoon season. The secenre is beautiful at sunrise or at sunset . If you are looking for sea shore view and peaceful vibes then it's a must go place .
