Yagachi Dam park is located just after Belur on the way to Chikmagalur. It is a must stop as you can feel the water from the dam right on your face.

Good place to spend some time with family. Well maintained.

Small and peaceful place to visit during evenings. Not much crowd and hence not much eateries or shops. Parking was easy. Boating is available and that's it, there is nothing more to do other than to observe the flowing water.. Timings are between morning 7 to evening 6 for the park. Boating closes down by 5.30pm or so. There is no shelter inside the park.

Well maintained park. They will close it at 6PM. Only a few dam gates were opened when we visited. It can be a Good timepass weekend trip. It is very nearer to beluru and halebidu.A few water sports are also there in another location which is 3 km from here.

Beautiful place to visit. Garden's / parks need maintenance. But the views when gates are opend n dam is full then its amazing. Do check it out its free

A peaceful place to spend the evening time... not so well maintained and no entry to the gates... still the location is photogenic... ever green space...

Pristine,pure, elixir of life contained within this reservoir......the lush fauna and flora thriving on it is proof .....the dam and sluice gates are small....the cool breeze from the water front is refreshing....the garden and landscape in the embarkment is well maintained ... seating area is ample for a picnic and short nap....

Small one but good for a break.. This dam has some view points and park and boat rides don't miss out.. I visited on a evening of a Sunday while returning from Chikmagalur back to Bangalore, halted for few mins and was thrilled seeing this inheard place.. The gates of the damn were not open but other side there was plenty of water and during sunset it was plesant..
