Yaa Residency near VIT - Serviced accommodation in Vellore - Vellore, India

Yaa residency is a beautiful homestay near VIT University. The house is well maintained with all the necessary amenities. We had to extend our stay and the owner was humble enough to accept our last minute request. The accomodation is perfect for parents/gaurdians visiting students at VIT.

The reviews only prompted me to visit Yaa Residency. Stayed there with my family for two days and now am left with no choice but to place my review as 5/5. Please note, it's a homestay. One spacious (king size bed) bedroom is available for the guest. It is an A/C room with attached bathroom. Has got electric kettle to make tea/ coffee. Coffee powder, tea bags, dairy powder and sugar are provided too. It has space for an extra mattress too. The house is kept spick and span. One car can be comfortably parked in the porch. It is just 4 minutes walk from the Gate 11 of VIT and a 16 minutes walk from VIT main gate. Those who would like to prepare their own food can use the kitchen facility or else the food delivery apps will deliver the food of your choice to the door step. If available, this is an apt place for parents who visit their wards studying at VIT. Thank you Mr Arun (owner) for your hospitality and all help. See you again !

Unlike traditional hotels, this wasn't just a place to stay; it was a house that embraced us with its cozy ambience.From well-equipped kitchen facilities to a comfortable living area, every corner of the house was thoughtfully designed to cater to our needs.This balance between cost and comfort was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, making it even more enjoyable.

Nice homestay that is a few minutes away from VIT. Clean place with good amenities and washroom. Very friendly owner who made sure the stay was very comfortable. Overall a great experience.

The property resides just a few meters away from VIT gate 3. The host is extremely kind and helpful. My mother lived there for a week while I attended classes in Vit. The residence is clean, spacious with working electricity, good wifi and AC bedroom. Altogether it is the best option for students if your parents are visiting, as it is close by and you can have access to a kitchen for a more homely feel.

One of the most comfortable stays i have ever had. A very nice place to stay. spacious ac rooms with clean bathrooms. Those who are worried about the bathroom cleanliness can definitely choose this place. Good air circulation and sunlight. overall feels a positive energy here. The home stay owner is also a very nice person. If we needed something, We would just call them and we would get it right away. Its in a residential area filled with vit faculties and walkable distance to 11th gate of vit. It's a perfect place for families whoes coming for any purposes in vit

This is really nice, quiet homestay, just mins away from VIT gate no. 11. It's away from the hustle bustle of the university town. Host is amazingly nice. Even when he was superbusy with this own schedule, he made sure that all our queries/issues (if any) were resolved. I stayed here in Apr 2023. Room provided was really big, super clean, well maintained. Maid was available for cleaning. All other facilities were also there like RO, fridge, clothes drying rack, washing machine, gas etc. I did not use washing machine and gas though.

This facility is perched a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and that itself adds value to the property especially if you drive your own vehicle. It's a well designed, compact house with a common living area, dining area and kitchen. The owner of the property was very friendly and took measures to ensure our stay was quite comfortable. If you're planning to visit VIT and are looking for a no-nonsense type of accommodation then go for it blindly. Also remember to articulate your specific needs and plans so that customisation wherever possible can be made. The property has limited covered parking and food delivery is quite common in the locality. Update The place is getting a face lift with better roads and parking space.
