The boat was OK, the rooms clean, the staff was very friendly. Food was also good. The location was too touristic. I did a house boat stay in 2011 and I remember clean waters , real backwaters with stunning views. This was a very very touristic and full route.
I went with a friend for a cruise of 1 day, and it was extraordinary. Boat with the best possible equipment and commodities, and staff superhelpful and kind. Food also very good and tasty. A bit expensive perhaps, but the price was totally worthy. Highly recommended

This was a wonderful houseboat experience! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the food was so delicious and they did a great job of accommodating both our veg and non-veg diets. There is something magical about just cruising around on the water watching the palm trees and rice paddies go by! We wished we'd done atleast 2 or 3 nights instead of just 1! Our boat had a top deck which we loved and spent most of our time up there reading and taking in the scenery. We also really liked the opportunity to get on a little boat and see the smaller canals. Would definitely recommend houseboating as a must do activity while in Kerala and recommend Xandari as a great houseboat operator!
We spent one night on a 3 room houseboat, had an awesome time, the staff were so helpful, the boat was spotlessly clean, the food was fantastic, great veg and non veg food. No liquor licence so they don't sell alcohol but we took our own which was no issue. 100% recommend a night on the boat while in Kerala

Fantastic houseboat-trip through the beautiful backwaters area. We saw a large variety of wildlife like fruitbats, snakes and kingfisher. The boats are very nice, spacious and clean. Crew is very friendly and caring. I would really recommend to do a trip with xandari riverscapes.
