WOODVISTA COTTAGES SHIMLA - Resort hotel in Cheog - Shimla, India

It was an absolutely amazing experience. We were there for five nights. We would have been happy if the location looked like the pictures. Not only is the view mind-blowing and serene at the same time. The staff made our stay so comfortable. They don't say no to any request. Every request was met with an consistently enthusiastic, "will be taken care of! Don't worry." Do try the Himachali dishes on the menu.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday stay at the best cottage in Shimla! The hospitality and service we received were truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and they were always available to assist us with any requests or questions we had. The food at the cottage was simply outstanding. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The chefs were incredibly talented and prepared each dish with great care and attention to detail. We were treated to a gastronomic experience that exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself was a haven of luxury and comfort. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities one could ask for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cottage also had stunning views of the surrounding mountains, which added to the overall charm and beauty of our stay. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience at this cottage. The combination of excellent hospitality, delicious food, and luxurious accommodations made for a truly unforgettable holiday. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Shimla. We are already planning our next visit!

Woodvista is truly a mesmerizing experience. The location, cleanliness, hospitality and food everything is perfect. There is genuine desire from staff to make the stay comfortable, receptionist neha helped us locate and guided nicely. Owner avinash is really humble and nice and big shout out to all the staff here who greeted us. We are sure, we will come back next year.

The resort is nestled in a forest. Accessibility is a bit strenuous- the last 1 km before reaching the resort is a bit tough to drive as the path goes through forest land. Otherwise the location is very scenic. Staff is very hospitable and helpful. Food quality is nice. Rooms are very tastefully built.

Overall, the stay was amazing. The stay was quiet, a bit far away from the city , a perfect place for vacation if you want to enjoy some peaceful time with your friends or family, the food was bit overpriced but was quite worth it. The rooms were organised perfectly and the bathrooms were clean and in perfect condition. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

Our stay was beyond our expectations, rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Bathrooms were very neat too. Services by staff are excellent. We enjoyed tasty food, scenery and services the most. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and brings the much needed break from city life. Thank you Woodvista.

Nice spacious cottages and decent service by the staff. Secluded location with rough approach road for around 2 kms. However during our time, there was a dog from a neighbouring village, as mentioned by the staff ,who was constantly inside the resort and outside the cottages , so not very convenient to sit and relax outside the cottage. There were no movie channels that were subscribed to on cable tv and despite requesting the staff to subscribe 4 channels, they were unable to subscribe and vague reasons were given! There were frequent power cuts throughout our stay.

We stayed just 1 night at woodvista and had a fantastic time .The cottages were clean and comfortable, offering stunning views of lush surroundings and a tranquil pond just steps away. The hotel team, Neha Goldie Raman and others lead by Mr.Vikas was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our stay enjoyable from start to finish. Not to mention the 2 friends we made-action and max the dogs whom we couldn't stop playing with, they guided us to the nearby pond and temple and were protecting us throughout our morning walk. The food was delicious. The pahadi chicken and mutton were especially outstanding.This place is a hidden paradise for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty.
