Woodsvilla Resort - Resort hotel in Majkhali, Turkaura - Almora, India

We stayed there from 23 To 25 June and our experience was not good. During power cut they did not have proper power backup so much so that every time DG set takes upto 10 minutes to start. There was long power cut and they quietly switched off DG set at 12.30 in the night and started it in the morning only that too after many requests. On being asked it was informed that they are doing it to save diesel, very shocking and unprofessional approach in hospitality industry. Also, there is No power supply to geyser from DG set .

I was really love with this place I visited with my friends we enjoyed very much here all staffs are very good and friendly and chef gaurav cooked as very delicious food.

Hotel with Scenic view, Courteous staff and Delicious food. Would recommend for family outing.

The majestic mountain range views, the well maintained rooms and the fabulous hospitality! Overall an excellent stay!! Special mention about Harish the manager of the hotel and his staff who absolutely bend backwards to make your stay comfortable and delightful!

I got a uograde from woodsvilla residency to woodsvilla resort The place is situated at a strategic place can see different peaks if the horizon is clear...the staff is courteous...rooms are clean....gives a feeling of old world charm

It was wonderful, the scenic beauty was worth watching. The food was good, staff was welcoming and Mr. Negi was very courteous. Overall its a must stay. The only issue we faced was with the insects in our room and unavailability of water bath occasionally.
