Woodstock Farmhouse, Shillong - Indoor lodging in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

We stayed during our trip to Meghalaya. We were around 16 members, families with kids. Overall, our stay was good. The service was excellent, the hotel staff are very kind and cooperative, and the food taste was okay. Rooms are clean and tidy provided with heaters. A bit of a drawback for us as breakfast gets ready by 8 a.m. only. The facility's location was ideal for us to visit the places in Shillong and Cherapunji. Facilities have a very good sit-out area to enjoy the weather and location. In the nearby hotel, there are a lot of restaurants. overall, quite satisfied.

We had a real bad experience in here. The manager was not even aware that the rooms were booked. He did not even check the mails and hence the manager created lot of ruckus while checking in. We had to direct him to the mail and asked him to read the mail. The manager had no hospitality sense. The bathrooms are way too small. Its difficult to figure out how one can manage shower in such a compact space.

It was such an overwhelming experience staying in this resort. The ambience and the theme based set up is top-notch. I'm literally impressed by the staff service here. They are so humble and sweet and take up all your requests, never disappoints. Special thanks to manager Doris, for ensuring such a flawless service.

A great dining experience in serene surroundings. We liked the ambience, which was understated. We landed up after 8:00 PM on a Friday night. The caretaker of the place, Praveen was warm and hospitable. The food was good, though the service was slow considering the time and place. The pork ribs, fried rice with Chicken and the dessert, especially apple pie with ice cream was good. The toilet was clean, albeit a little far from the restaurant. It's linked to ML 05, which closes at 8:00 PM.

Worst stay we ever had. They shifted our room to another hotel without even curving with us because they had to cater extra rooms for a wedding party. Just okay food and an it's poorly managed hotel. If there's an option any other budget hotel would be nice. Rooms are not clean and are not value for money.

Rooms are good. Washroom service can be a bit better. The staff are very cordial. Food is fresh, good quality, options are less.Dinner last order acccepted till 9:30pm. Birthday n parties can also be arranged

The location is awesome. The service can be made better. They have 2 cooks. 1 for chinese dish and 1 for indian. One thing which must not be missed is the Library.
