A calm and serene place of stay. Family friendly atmosphere with designated kids play area. Multiple suites are available for individuals and family. Separate games room. Restaurant is good with variety cuisines. Staff is polite and friendly. Parking space is limited.
Such a beautiful location. But a vehicle is recommended (rental/own) . It could be rented from Shimla if needed. If one is looking for a place yo stay, away from ever crowded Shimla, then please do check this place out , around 40-45 mins alway in a small place called Shoghi. Unfortunately we found this place much later and we had already checked in to another neighbouring hotel, but beautiful property. Would love to visit Shoghi just to stay at this property. It hosts a beautiful sunset, we did check out the rooms and wowwww, quite neat and well done.
Beautiful stay and wow weather with such a humble staff specially the caretaker lucky who is just perfect in his hospitality which makes us repeat this place visit. Awsome location, always wow weather great rooms and staff. Some pics

A very calm and serene stay... among woods and clouds... Rooms are cozy with a good view... Though needs maintenance here and there...Service and staff is prompt.. There are few shops in walking distance for snacks etc... For rest of the places one has to avail transport...A parking lot is available... It has a small library and indoor games area.. The only thing I didn't like... Tea... They don't serve proper tea... It's like half boiled... And also they don't oblige by cooking Maggie for kids( kids love to hv it.. At remote places u see)
Amazing stay, delicious food, comfortable property. The staff is very polite. The views from this property are breathtaking. Highly recommended if one wants to stay away from the hustle yet close to Shimla.
5 Star Rating !!! Excellent We were 2 families who booked Woodsmoke Resort just one day before our trip for 04 nights and had gone by with various reviews available on google and trip advisor. We were pleasantly surprised after reaching the resort, as it was located on a high hill overlooking a valley and surrounded by birds chirping. Just the peaceful and beautiful location we were looking for. The food was great and our children enjoyed multi-cuisines which were prepared especially by the chef. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for relaxing and enjoying nature, and surely avoiding the crowded hill stations. Special thanks to Lucky (Manager Front Office) who exceeded expectations in services and ensured that our stay was comfortable. We will be visiting Woodsmoke Resort soon again !!!
Nice and quiet place. The staff is very helpful. That said, there is no power backup and wifi does not work. Even repeated requests for WiFi were not addressed. Breakfast had a limited spread but it was tasty.
