Woodrock Hotel Manali - Hotel in Manali - Kullu, India

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Woodrock, situated conveniently near Mall Road and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Being just a stone's throw away from Mall Road, I had easy access to a wide array of shopping options, restaurants, and local attractions. Even Hidimba Devi temple is at a walking distance.

It's a nice experience to be in Woodrock hotel , near to mall road, nice ambience and space... Excellent staff...and services....supportive Enjoy a lot with family ..... 9 0ut of 10.... Food quality is also good....but a bit spicy

This is a really superb property! Great clean rooms with decent views (not mind blowing though). The central heating works really well, and there's good power backup as well. There's an elevator - this made life easy for my Sr. citizen mother. The lawn is very well maintained with an outdoor TV. (they kept it on all the time in the evening to screen matches, irrespective of whether guests were seated there, which was a big plus as far as their attitude towards guests is concerned). The breakfast was good, and the food was tasty, though a bit expensive. This is a great place to stay in all seasons, as the facilities are top class! And now the biggest asset - The staff. Right from manager Mr. Gopal Sharma who co-ordinated with me for the stay, to the room service guys - everyone was so courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Sanchit, who is a great asset with his attitude and courtesy. He and his colleague Akhilesh made our dining experience warm. Sanchit - I would hire you right away if I owned a 5-star hotel. Just one negative point (and hence I deducted a star) - there are hardly any facilities for drivers. They are not allowed to sit outside their cars. Please do provide some facilities for drivers - they are human beings after all. A clean bath and WC area and may be a cup of tea. Your guests are safe if drivers are well rested! "Thodi facilities dene se aap aur bade ho jaoge....chhote nahi!"

The stay was extraordinary to say the least. Right from the ambience, the food, staff behavior and comfort this property stands atop in every aspect.We took up 2 super deluxe and 1 executive room. All the rooms were equally spacious and spectacularly clean.The views were mesmerizing from each room. Complementary breakfast was sumptuous. Will definitely visit once I am in Manali again.The front desk is very helpful, specially the GM Mr. Akshay is very soft spoken. The only points of improvement can be keeping a Toto/Auto at the Guest's disposal to reach and be back from Mall road. While the descend to the mall road from this property is pretty easy (5_8 mints), returning back can be tad bit difficult for elderly people. Food is pricey. Also, the travel desk quotes impractical prices for Cars, not relatable with the market price at all. However apart from these minor aspects, this property has surpassed all my expectations.

The property is located very close to the mall. The staff is very well behaved. The ambience is great for family and friends. Totally recommendable

We stayed at Woodrock hotel for 1 night ..and I would say it was the best experience there..very neat and clean and well-maintained property..food , service, rooms everything was great..it's a perfect place for those who want peace also and at the same side don't want to stay far away from Mall Road.. you can easily go to Mall Road which is only 5-7 minutes walking distance away.. the staff there is so well- behaved and generous..moreover the views of mountains from this property is also breathtaking

Great property and experience. I stayed at this property for a night and a day in their delux room at 3rd floor in September 2023. The hotel upgraded my room from simple delux to super delux (thanks to them). The room was very spacious and had a balcony facing the mountains. The view from the room was superb. The hotel has a swimming pool on one side and great lawn with seating area on the other. It is a great place to come with family during winter season and enjoy tandoori dishes infront of camp fire. The food was awesome but a bit expensive. If you're on a budget you can walk towards Mall road and you will find plenty of economical options. The hotel has plenty of parking space so you can safely park your vehicle inside. Staff was very well behaved and resembles the staff of a great 4 star or 5 star hotel. The hotel is bit expensive for people on a budget however after taking into consideration the view from the room, food, proximity to main attractions, service and amenities I belive it is value for money. Overall it is a great property to stay.

The manager of the dining hall is a very nice person he took personal attention of all the occupants. The taxi service was poor as it was provided after much delay. The waiter attending the room on call also came when it suited him. As above. I am giving a four star rating because of the nice behavior of the dining hall Manager. A bit of courtesy is all that senior citizens expect.
