Woodlands Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Udupi - Udupi, India

It looks like kind of hyped restaurant. Service was poor. There tastes good. looks neat and clean. But there were not any wow factor in any of the dishes we ordered. No food tastes bad. over all a good veg restaurant in the locality. But not the must visit one.

A traditional vegetarian restaurant this one is popular amongst Locals/travellers. While their main cuisines are south Indian/konkani, North Indian items are also served. Prices are moderate & the food quality is good. But the ambience is poor & badly needs a make-over. Limited road side parking available.

Long wait for table, but food was reasonably priced and served fast and food was delicious. Situated in a corner and in basement. Worth a try. In addition to South Indian dishes, you can find North Indian and Chinese food specialties. But they even make pizza. Babycorn Mancurian can't be made as well anywhere.

If you are visiting South India, to be precise Udupi, then you HAVE to visit Woodlands. The food here is authentic and pure taste of Udupi. We had their South India Udupi mini thali, North India Udupi mini thali, Idli, Orange Juice, Badam Pista milkshake, watermelon juice. Thalis tasted like authentic style which we usually do not get it back in Mumbai. The sambar, chutney and rassam tasted like heaven. Will be visiting the same place until we are here for the trip.

Hotel looks very small from outside, but when we enter inside, we can see a very spacious hotel with a good atmosphere and it's very much neat and clean. It's too crowded but it's not effecting their service at all. They give food with 5 minutes and it's very tasty. We ordered Vada, masaladosa, and leaf idli. It's mouth watering. Must visit restaurant and recommending to others.

Its a nice family restaurant. Food tastes,service and ambiance are very good. Sometimes the place gets crowded and you need to wait for a table. The staff is quite humble and polite. We ordered quite a few things and a few I recommend are Mughlai dum biryani , panner kurkure, French onion soup, and mini Gudbud.

One of the iconic and landmark restaurants in Udupi. A restaurant known for its taste and quality. Their thali is of the most unique and Paisa vasool because it's not only the rice that is filled but even the Puri and curry that is unlimited. You will also be severed three different types of sweets and finally closed with an ice cream. The taste is one that stands out in the restaurant. Their panner pepper fry is completely unique and different which is only served by Woodland. Please try this place if you are in Udupi

Visited for Breakfast. Loved the Sambar dipped idly and vada, Paper dosa, Open dosa and Mangalore buns. Atomosphere is little dingy as its underground but service is good and quick.
