Woodland WK Hospital - Hospital in Jowai - West Jaintia Hills, India

I would like to inform you that, my dad had been admitted , into your Hospital, which promised to provide a world-class Service and treatment.I came across several inconveniences and nuisance values with regard to poor service and maintenance. First and Foremost..The assigned Doctors were usually late by almost an hour or two and the staffs who were supposed to address the patient on their behalf, seemed absent most often than not, even being On Duty especially Those Doctors on the emergency room and ICU Nurse . The Nurses and Male attendants seemed to be unfriendly and unapproachable at instances which made the stay at the Hospital, an unpleasant experience to say the least. On being enquired, these problems are usual to all the other patients and their families. I hereby urge you to take the matter into your own hands, so that convenience is served at the earliest.

What kind of behaviour is this "my hospital my rule" statement by one the female doctor(local)...i dnt care how many hospital you own but you have to respect everyone who came to your hospital,if patient does not come to your hospital you will not be able to run your business.Remember we all pay whatever the cost is...so dont show your attitude,if you want respect you have to earn it. All the staff member of this hospital should be teach how to have a conversation with the patient,visitors. Worst hospital

Services provided at the hospital were not as expected for a renowned hospital. We had to wait for 3 hours for an x-ray. The hospital is very unhygienic; the gown provided for x-ray purposes seems like it has not been washed for several months. Staff at the reception lack interpersonal skills.

As a registered nurse I am very ashamed to find some really disturbing things about this Jowai Woodland Hospital. Right from the receptionist to the nursing staff they were very unprofessional and lacked empathy. The behaviour of staff towards the village people was very rude. They lack common sense the hospital is very unhygienic and if this goes on people will stop puting hope in the hospital due to some unethical and unprofessional staffs. Utterly disappointed I would suggest people from Jowai to rather refer to Shillong Woodland. The amount they charge and the hospitality of the management does not deserve appreciation and let alone the hope of people wanting a basic right to health and wellbeing. Then the doctors are never on time . I have seen people waiting for the doctors for 2 hours right from 10Am and still waiting. This hospital needs to be questioned by the Medical Council of the state because they are playing with innocent lives.

Went for check up to this hospital for the very first time today....and it was the worst experience EVER! They literally made a patient (Me) wait 10 freaking hours just to get an Ultrasound. And on top of that, even if you're the first one to register for the Test(s) , they just call out randomly....so it's not First Come First Serve its "Whoever we want to call first"....that's their attitude ...Sorry this is my last time visiting your hospital. Never want to go through that ever again.

These is the worst upcoming hospital I ever see in my life. I'm talking about the staff. They'll speak in Jowai dialect toning like they own the hospital and put priority first for their comfort zone than for the suffering of the patient. The staff talk like they are not rude but their face expression is very mean , it's sad to hear from many patients who have visited this upcoming hospital. The staff need to be educated to learn how to deal with the villager those who are coming from rural areas. They tend to act like they are government employees. They way the speak as if they don't care for the health of the people both physically and mentally. For simple things you have to wait for many hour. The Director of this Hospital need to take serious step orelse it will loose it value... They only reason it still shinning is because it they only hospital with few facilities in Jowai town orelse it will fall down. It need Change. Staff are acting like we are working for them. Someone please tell them that they are earning from the poor people only they well to do family don't even know about these hospital.

It's a third class hospital i ever saw ,the laboratory staffs are very slow in taking samples ,,,,i has waited for 1&half hour to give them urine and blood sample ... Doctors are also not come on time total management system is very bad .....
