Winner hotel family restaurant - Restaurant in Panackapalam - Kottayam, India

Stopped here while traveling for lunch. The place had ample seating for a decent crowd. The food was hot and fresh. The service quick. We had fish meals. Enjoyed!

We stopped at Winner family restaurant for breakfast while on the way to another city. The ambience is good. The restaurant is neat and clean. The staff wears uniform that gives the restaurant a professional look. At 9 am the restaurant was quite crowded. We got the table without waiting though. I liked the way the water drinking glasses were kept on each table. The water drinking glass stand was interesting. Kindly check the picture of it that I have posted. One thing off was that the restaurant didn't have many varieties for breakfast. Just 3-4 items were there that also informed by the waiter. There was no menu card offered. The a bit spicy black gram dish offered with parotha our aappam was good. Being in Kerala, the tea was light and less sweeter compared to other places. I believe every state has its own taste of tea. Overall, a quick good experience of having breakfast.

I visited to have Lunch. The food was delicious. Seats are always full. Rice meal was tasty, lots of side dishes with unlimited quality. Biriyani was normal. Noodles was delicious. Price was moderate and competitive.

Pls read this - amazing food. No kidding Had beef fry and curry, mutton curry, fish curry. The server was generous and offered us fish toran. We also had some sambar for taste. Man the food was plain delicious, we took parcel as the food was so tasty that it made our day. This is one gems that kerela gives you, relish this - also this one is for the books.

Winner hotel provides decent food at a good quantity as well. Their chicken biriyani, porotta and beef roast combo are must try as well. Breakfast food is also good specially their porotta egg roast and tea ! They have a limited but decent parking space and street parking is available as well. They also have chinese food options available as well.

For their Beef recipe, here's my rating. It ticked most of the boxes except for the Egg roast. It was just too bland for me. We were looking to have breakfast before the mountain trek, and this restaurant was teeming with crowds, obviously for their Beef recipe, I guess.

I order dosa, and egg curry, it was very spicy, i coudint eat, but its situated at the heart of the city , so its croweded. Overall is okay

Known for the tasty Biriyani. Most of the foods are tasty. Service also is fine. Coffee and Tea are not much satisfying.
