Windsor Cottages - Resort hotel in Lansdowne, Jaiheri - Pauri Garhwal, India

I along with my family and family friends stayed in Windsor Cottage. I have been through an amazing experience. Each one of us including kids enjoyed a lot. You won't regret to your decision that would be my promise. Staffs are very polite. You will get kids zone along with a lot of activities. All free. And the location and atmosphere of this property is absolutely amazing. Food were delicious and the quantity was enough to fill mind and stomach too. I would visit again in future. I thank you very much to all the stuffs including the owner for this amazing hospitality.

The location is approx 3-4 kms from the main market of Landsdowne. The cottages are very beautiful, they have enough space to hop around, managed by exceptionally well trained & courteous staff. The property is very engrossing and has different kinds of games available, different seating areas, good enough catering services, etc. Things to improve : 1. As per the cost of the cottage, the facilities inside the room were not up to the mark, no AC, no heater, the geyser is there but the shower is not connected to it. 2. The bedsheet and blankets were smelly and itching, had a lot of hairs of people already stayed. 3. The most imp. thing to be noticed is that the cottages are not soundproof, even a low sound is hearable at night especially. Rest, we had a great stay there. Hope this helps :)

We had a lovely stay this October, as a family of three. It's a very budget friendly and pet friendly home away from home kind of place where right from the Owner to the cleaning staff, everyone is a delight - gentle humble people who look after your routine and meals more than you do! A small example was the dinner: We used to have dinner at this place itself, and we expressed our desire to have local cuisine. Despite they not having it on their menu, right from meals to dessert, the Chef ensured amazing delights. The best thing I liked about the place was that they haven't messed up with nature, the cottages are in the heart of the jungle, even the adventure zone has been constructed without cutting any trees. The hospitality, the management, the location as well as the trekking zones around the cottages were a delight. Being slightly away from Lansedowne town, the cottages are away from noise, crowd and chaos. What does anyone coming from a city seek? A perfect get away. My husband found this place ideal for work from home as well, someday I will plan another trip for that :) and for that their WiFi signals need to be perfect, promised the manager. I would love to pen another book, from Windsor Cottages! Thank you all for looking us after so well. Caution for People with Kids: Incase your child falls sick often, please speak to the owner Sachin ji about local doctors beforehand, as we didn't spot any hospitals or clinics around Lansedowne. But being a defence training zone, I am sure there must be some nice facilities.

The overall experience is positive. The location is excellent, nestled amidst abundant greenery. However, the cottage sizes are compact, and there are some ventilation issues. The food is enjoyable, and the staff members are supportive and courteous. Additionally, there is parking available. If you're considering a trip to Lansdowne, this option is worth considering. Best place to see the sunset.

It is near Downtown and I've stayed here with my friends over the last weekend. Place is well equipped with amenities and the location is also pretty good. It is very big area with lot of greenery which simply adds to its beauty. The Bamboo cottages, food quality is amazing. It gives the perfect feeling of living in a forest. Done

One of the best place for All! No matter You are backpacker or with friends or you want to go with your family, if you want a formal meeting or business event this is the best place to stay.. I was here for my Art Workshop and an unofficial meeting with the fellow Artists. Windsor Cottage. It's a colorful place with Artistic touch on the walls, You can See the Wall Art by Artists. Overall the atmosphere here is really good. The staff is polite and helpful. Bathrooms are clean, no bed bugs which is a good thing. Rates are reasonable,the food here is also just like home , to say it has amazing taste, great location with great vibes. Clean rooms, good facilities with nice common play room and a big bonfire area to sit and chill. What really makes this Property is the staff. They are very helpful, friendly and accommodating, allowing us to stay a full week instead of two days as initially planned. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere of this place. The property is huge with simple rooms but very cute cottages. The property is so beautiful, and the food is also top notch. Staff is very polite and service is on point. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway close to nature.

It's a lovely place to visit with family and friends. The food was amazing, and the place is near all the tourist spots in Lansdowne. I highly recommend staying at this place!
