WIND CHIMES - Hotel in Puducherry, Periyamudaliyar Chavadi - Villupuram, India

Sharing my experience. Rooms & Service: 1. I am a teetotaller. I found black color CK cigarets in my room after a day stay. So, I dont know, if the house keeping didnt clean the room diligently or someone went inside while I was already lodged. Staff claimed that there are CCTV but didnt answer on cigaret. Due to all of this we vacated early from the hotel. 2. There is no breakfast or lunch/dinner service in the hotel. You will have to order food from outside and get it delivered. 3. The location is good. Its walking distance to the beach.

very near to beach in just a 2 min walk v ll b in beach which is not much crowded too. Value for money. And good caring and good service thanks for wind chimes

I booked a room here and they asked for 500 advance, then I paid and went to this hotel after that, they said we don't have rooms right now then they send to another hotel for they recomdation "that hotel is extremely poor " so don't do this for your won please be genuine

Located on a narrow road were 2 cars cant cross. It is very close to beach but the beach is not clean and apt for families. Parking area is very congested so that your wake up time depends on your neighbours check out time. No toiletries or towels. Rooms were not very clean but they applied some room spray. Spiderwebs spotted everywhere in the room and false ceiling was starting to decay. Water bottle and wifi available on demand. Breakfast provided was OK although there is no restaurant inside this hotel. But the price they charged was 3k which is not at all worthy for the service and facilities got.

Absolutely pathetic bunch. They say yes to rooms availability repeatedly and then when you show up the room isn't available, then good luck wasting your precious travel time looking for a place at the last minute. Unprofessional and clueless about how to run a hotel. Edit - Having asked over phone and whatsapp over and over about how to make a payment, they never gave any details and then blamed the guest for not having made a payment, very convenient. Glad there are other hotels in the area which handle customers better.

Stay too much overpriced compared to location, Location is around 6-7 km away from White Town or Aurobindo Ashram or the main tourist places, even from the good dining places. So you always need a vehicle with you for travelling to places.After 9 PM the place becomes dark and very unsafe, even the local people and crowd not good. The beach behind this property is not clean and not suitable for family. They do not adjust much on some delayed checkout or early check-in, will charge you once its over 24 hours. So make it clear to them before going for the full payment. They can say yes to whatever you say at the time of payment but can change their mind anytime afterwards.Car parking is to conjested here not but least better carry one blanket if u book room here ..they will provide only one blanket for double bed room

Only hotel with budget rooms in that street near auro beach. Room are normal not a classy one. Had a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very polite

The hotel is neat and clean. But most of the people go there for hang out with friends. It is located at just 50 metres from ECR. This hotel allows you for 24 hours check-in and check-out, because of this only we booked this hotel. Most of the hotels not allowing us for 24 hours check-in and check-out. We reached there at 9:30pm and check-out at 6:30pm so as to reach Chennai earlier before midnight. Auroville beach is located at 200 metres from this hotel. Beach is not worth, because it's not clean, it's just sea shore that's all.
