William's Beach Retreat - Resort hotel in Colva - South Goa, India

The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty. Toilet was horrible. Ambience was very bad. Could not stay a single night but paid Rs, 2938/ advance whice was not repaid. Overall a horrible experience for two hours.

Google is not approving my detailed review. I am giving my review in short. This resort is best for budget travelers. I stayed in room no 201 for 4 days with my family in August 2023. This is a very nice resort with large pool. Restaurant in ground floor, very cheap and tasty meal available here. Colva beach is at walking distance. Most of the rooms are AC and working. I will again stay here during my next visit. Cons -- There is no room service.

The property is very big and the swimming pool too. But it is not maintained. There was black fungus in the rooms and algae in swimming pool so we didnt swim. The room was smelling. Bathroom was bad. I was expecting a good room in the price i paid. Little disappointed. Good part is the resort is near to colva beach.

Though they claim themselves as 2 star hotel but you will not find anything that seems 2 star. Their rooms are old and not comfy. When I visited, it was dirty and lot of hairs were there on the floor and bathroom, when I told them about the issue they were not accepting their mistake and after argumenting they cleaned the room. The receptionists are rude (people have mentioned in other reviews also). So I suggest a BIG NO for this property.

I'm glad that I chose this resort. Rooms are good. Even service is better. Staff is polite. The restaurant below is offering good taste too. We've got the room for 1500 in off season and it was totally worth. Location is bit far from beach. You need to walk a kilometre from hotel to beach.

Very poor service, the rooms were clean but the linen looked as it had not been dry cleaned but hand washed , also we booked the AC room (204)but the AC never worked,and at night when we complained at the reception they were clueless what to do next,the receptionist is an older lady who told us and I quote "I cannot help you right now, technician isn't available until morning" later asking her how should we sleep we're told, "There's a fan in the room right?" In a sarcastic tone and on replying if she was kidding? She started playing the old lady card, how can you speak to me like this. I mean we had already paid 1400/- to sleep in an AC room,and when asked to change the room, all rooms were booked when they clearly weren't,and on arguing we're finally given a new room(108), very poor service.

It was a terrible experience with this restaurant and the lady who sits at the reception was so arrogant. We have paid more than 6k for stay for 4 days, we booked this hotel because of swiming pool. However, the swimming shown in the picture is the old photo which they haven't updated. The pool water is so rotten that there were frogs and mosquito on the water. When We asked for the pool or how long will it take, she replied,' it will take time I don't know how long.' My money is wasted on this hotel. Extremely bad experience I would never recommend it to anyone. I cant show the pictures of the pool. And even the setop box or tv wasn't working because it was not recharged, so what did we paid for?
