While the accessibility of this property to the tiger reserve and market is its biggest advantage, the refreshing architecture and a welcoming staff deserve recognition as well. Unfortunately, the evident cost-cutting, especially noticeable in the mediocre breakfast, prevents a better rating.

I loved this place. The atmosphere at the restaurant is great. Friendly staff. I will miss their smiles.

We stopped here for some tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and the plum cake was absolutely delicious. The rooms looked very cute from outside and the place is quite close to the Periyar boating point. Highly recommended for a stay.

Originally I thought this would be away from town, but it turns out to be on the main road but right out of downtown. It appears to be a boutique B&B, targeting the eco-tourist. I saw monkeys crossing the courtyard. That was interesting. The hot water system took a long time (5+ minutes) to heat up. Wasted about 20 litres of cold water before the water was warm enough to shower. Staff was very helpful and service oriented. Arranged for a taxi for my trip back to the airport. A negative experience ... Lights from the courtyard shone through the windows without curtains. It's a bit difficult to sleep while the light was illuminating the room. Either curtains or turning off the lights would be great. The coffee was weak and I had to request extra instant powder to get it to taste like coffee. Guess the locals drink tea mostly.

Excellent location, lovely ambience, clean and tidy place. 3 mins walk to Periyar National Park, yet amidst crowded locality. Want to specifically mention the staff at the hotel- super polite and most cordial, at any time around the day you will find them greeting you with a smile. Had a great stay.

Very good stay and loved the rooms and it's ambience.. Large rooms with separate sit out areas.. Feels like jungle stay. Highlight of this stay is staff behavior, they are the one who makes our stay more special. Loved english breakfast, but many Indians may not like it as it doesn't fit into the breakfast menu..
