Nicest place to enjoy with family and friends..totally filled with greenery fresh air and Swimming pool... during night time bon fire are the best part

It was an Amazing experience staying at Wilderness Retreat. Staff at this place were Damn good and i would rate 10 * if it was possible. Food is really amazing, pocket friendly and truly traditional flavours. The ambience and location is really really great. I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for a calm place to spend your holiday.

The stay was very good. We stayed for one day. Only the approach road was bad, otherwise all are OK, The staff were much courteous and helping. We are vegetarian and food served was excellent.Also campfire was arranged by the manager and we spend really quality time enjoying.Safari was arranged by them with forest department bus. We sighted elephants, Sambars and two leopards

Mediocre at best. But priced as a 3 star resort. It was 9k per day, excluding food. We went 5 months ago, in April, after we got there they mentioned that they had just taken over so the rooms were still not in a good condition. They somehow managed to make the room jus tidy enough to manage our stay. They handed us the room right on time, not a minute early, even though we reached over an hour early with a restless 4 year old. The pool was not clean either. They didn't clean the room the second day of our stay. However, the food was good enough, n the staff tried their best to compensate the pathetic condition of the place by being nice n courteous. The place definitely needs improvement. They must charge the customers for their accommodation n not for their repairs.

Stay was great and at the price which they offer is just awesome. You wont get this kind of a stay such close to bagarhole national park this cheap. Rooms have almost all the basic amenities like AC, Geyser, Water heater etc. Rooms were clean and hygenic too. For recreation, they have 8 ball pool table and table tennis. And they even arrange shooting activities also. Property was very clean and uses no plastics. They even arranged bornfire for us as well. Must visit property. Mr. Karthik was really very helpful and very polite in nature. He arranged all the safaris for us and made it very easy for us.

This is a laid back resort with a lot of activities to keep you entertained during your stay - 1. Swiming Pool 2. Pool Table 3. Carrom 4. Table Tennis 5. Good Music 6. Bonfire The cottages are cozy and clean with basic amenities. The food was also good. We ordered North Indian. They also offer buffet option as well. Also, it is just 2km away from the entry gate of Nagarhole National Park. So, optimum place to enjoy a jungle safari.

It was a really nice experience. The road leading upto it is the only difficult bit. The hosts, specially Karthik took good care of us. He arranged jeep and bus safari for us. Rooms are spacious. Food was good. A humble request to other travellers, please do not play loud music here and respect the jungle.
