Wild thyme is a small restaurant just below a pub called drunkling Sizzlers in Koramangala which has pretty good ambience, food and service. I had been to wild thyme restaurant on a weekday for dinner and I liked their food. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good, their wooden furnituring goes well with the lightings and looks catchy. They can accommodate around 40-50 people. The service is excellent Mr Shiva prasad took good care of us, he was always ready to explain about the food. All the crew members were courteous. What I ate !? Chicken cheese bites This was pretty unconventional. The minced chicken was wrapped up well with cheese. The combination of thick cheese and minced chicken very well. They also provided mayo which went well with it. Drunkling kebab This was one the best starter available at wild thyme. I loved it. The marination was perfect. The chicken was Juicy and tasted good. Chicken ghee roast The chicken ghee roast was excellent. It was slow cooked with ghee. They were mixed with the cashew nuts. The gravy was soft and tasted good. Drunkling chicken sizzler The sizzlers are the big talking point at this restaurant. They were well equipped with mashed potatoes that were as soft as butter. The rice along with the gravy which had baby corn and corn all over it. The chicken was hot and spicy, their gravy was good. The chicken was well covered with loads of cheese. The clothing of cheese along with the chicken was top notch. Among the cocktails I had the barman special which was a vodka based drink with one being apple and the other orange. I loved their glasses in which the cocktails were served. The ice is kept in a separate bowl to keep the cocktai cold even after long time, this also makes sure that cocktail doesn't end up becoming watery. All in all wild thyme is a small restaurant which serves good food. They have good varieties of food available at your disposal. Their ambience is pretty good and their service is excellent. Wild Thyme can easily be located using Google Maps. The restaurant has two floors of seating. The ground floor has bright lighting while the one on the top has yellow lighting. We chose the one on the top. Seating was comfortable, Good music and AC temperature was set right. Dominic, the managing partner, was at the restaurant and it was great interacting with him. The best was his readiness to take honest feedback and his williness to improve. I also got a chance to interact with the chef Chandrashekhar. His passion for cooking was visible in the food that I relished. Coincidentally both the chefs have the same name. MUST TRY: 1. Spicy sunrise (mocktail) 2. Prawn Ghee Roast ( I am pretty sure all the variants will be good.) 3. Prawns Tawa fry 4. Kori Roti (yummy gravy and crispy roti) 5. Sizzling brownie for two.
> Bottom Line: Not by choice but by chance I happened to visit Wild Thyme Restaurant yesterday which is situated on the busy road of Koramangala 5th block and ultimately my visit to this place became enchanting after having some scrumptious food from there. the perfect way to wrap up the night as you know good mood results from having good food. The restaurant is mainly prominent for its sizzlers (Veg/Non Veg) , Continental Starters and drinks like Mocktails and Cocktails. We thought of trying out something different apart from their usually picked items and opted for some of their dishes in Mangalorean and coastal cuisines and ultimately it was totally worth after trying those items. > Our Picks for the Day Food: In Food section we have ordered two starters one each from the Veg and the Non Veg section. From the veg section we have orderd Cheese Potato croquettes. It was served on a plate with 8 chunks of minced potatoes stuffed inside in it along with beetroot mayonnaise which I haven't seen anywhere before adding to its uniqueness. It is one of the best options to choose for among the veg starters. The highlight of our dishes came from the Non Veg Starter. We have ordered Chicken Ghee Roast and it was the dish which we liked the most among the ones we have ordered. Even though it sounds like a Kerala Dish and in taste too the dish is prepared on the lines of Mangalorean cuisine. It was scrumptious and the level piquancy was adequate. We would personally recommend to try out their Chicken Ghee Roast as it is a very good option among the Non Veg Starters and a perfect one to have it along with the drinks. In the main course section we had opted for Mangalorean Home made chicken biryani. This is something which we haven't tried it in the past and it was worth ordering it. The quantity of the biryani was ample and we have shared it among ourselves. The biryani looked greenish-yellow in color with a half boiled egg placed at the top and containing small chunks of boiled chicken. The taste of biryani was also good. The accompaniments served along with the biryani were raita and pudina gravy. Beverages & Deserts In the beverage section we had opted for a mocktail and a cocktail. The mocktail served was Cucumber Fresh and it looked green in color with a combination of Cucumber,Mint Leaves and Aam Panna. The taste was not sweet and somwhere lied between sweet and bitter. It was something unqiue which we haven't tried in the past.Normally in mocktails we go for virgin mogito or some variant in strawberry. The taste was not that great because of the cucumber flavor and I don't think everyone will be liking this. In the cocktail section we have taken pop my cherry. its a amalgamation of Rosemary infused bourbon Whiskey, cherry ,lime and honey. As it is infused with cherry and other stuffs the taste of the cocktail was more like a tonic and it was highly bitter. We couldn't finish the beverages as we are not a great lover of cocktail. Finally in the desert section we have taken a pair of Gulab Jamun - Vanilla Icecream combo and caramel custard. Both were equally luscious. > Customer Service We have received impeccable service from the management. Staffs are very courteous and attentive. Once we stepped infront of the restaurant we were greeted with a cheerful smile by one of their lady staffs. The Manager Mr Dominick welcomed us inside and helped us to get seated. Dominick stood with us and suggested some of their signature dishes as we were in a dilemma to pick up the dishes from their broad range of menu. Our steward for the day was Mr Anup. Anup was very proactive in carrying out our orders and ensured timely delivery of food items to our table. Thanks for the great hospitality guys !!.
Wild thyme restaurant is a family friendly restaurant located in a prime locality of Koramangala, good food and great hospitality. the food menu is Continental, Oriental, Chinese and Indian specially Mangalorean coastal cuisine.
Awesome place. You get authentic Indian ans well Italian food. Must try ghee roast chicken.
Earlier visited this place for sizzler, that time it was really good. Now it renamed and merged with drunkling. I think with name they changed the chef also. Sizzlers are not even same as earlier. Taste and quality both decreased. The chicken was too hard and dry. It was not fresh and not marinated. Quantity of food and quality of cheese is good. But disappointed with taste and quality of chicken. I expected more from this restaurant as visited many times earlier.
I went to this place for Saturday lunch with my husband. Luckily there was one parking place available on the road and we managed to park there. The restaurant is a part of Drunkling Sizzlers. It is spread across different levels, out of which first floor is the family seating area and named as "Wild Thyme" Ineriors are trendy and rustic decor. I felt that that was a little less. Great place for a date :) Food was real quick. Started with some cheese balls and stuffed mushrooms along with a beautiful cocktail. Both starters were equally good. Then came the chicken ghee roast served with tandoori roti. It was heavenly and prepared to perfection! The star of the show was the chicken sizzler. It had a good portion of noodles, veggies, madhed potatoes and grilled chicken breast. We enjoyed it thoroughly. In desserts we had caramel custard which was just superb! The restaurant is managed by Mr Dominic who had been immensely helpful. Would love to visit again :)
Nice place, good food, must order the sizzlers, music is in moderate volume so that you can hear each other's voice, we realy liked it,one star deducted for the cost, as I feel all the happening places must reduce their cost so more and more ppl can visit, because when everybody comes business grows and make it equal
Great experience! Food was delicious. We had a mix of both veg and non veg and everything tasted amazing! The service was great and the host shared a lot of history and stories about the food. We had a whole room to ourselves so the kids got to play

Amazing restaurant with a unique concept of exploring the regional dishes of Karnataka. We are much more familiar with North Indian food, but were excited to try cuisine local to Bangalore. The server helped us pick dishes that went together, and we
Best hotel for uttar kannada foods. Main USP is the cost. Cost is too affordable by anyone. Taste is good , quantity is more than enough. Well maintained, place is clean and good.
